Invitation help please
Hi! I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's Halloween wedding plans coming together!

For our Halloween wedding, my fiancee and I are planning a pumpkin/jack o'lantern theme and decorations. In keeping with this, we've been looking for pumpkin wedding invitations. So far, we have not had much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on where we could find some affordable pumpkin/jack o'lantern invitations? Thank you so much!

One idea is to get plain invitations in a color you like, then decorate them yourself--use stamps, or cut them into interesting shapes, or glue decorative items onto them, like sequins or cut-out pumpkins (scrapbooking suppliers often have cool themed stuff).

Here is something very cute on etsy: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26478658; it looks like they will work with you to customize. I haven't bought from this seller and they are unrated, so use your best judgment.

Invitations by Dawn has these, which I think are really pretty: http://www.invitationsbydawn.com/We_ViewEns.cfm?sItemCode=WedEns7379&sCatalogCode=WedEnsDD&iStartRow=1&format=WedEnsDDa&lCriteria=4535&strcontinue=yes&strsearch=yes

Hope those help at least a little.

Thank you! I've come across both of those in searching, and love the Invitations by Dawn pumpkin invitations. Thank you for helping out!

Oh, and I'm also going to second what draculachanter suggested - you could even have some relatively normal/plain invitations printed up for you, then get a stamp from Michaels (like these) and use it to embellish your invitation or envelopes with an orange, gold, or silver ink (or whatever you like).

I MUST HAVE THOSE STAMPS. Haha, I was going to stop by either JoAnn Fabric or Michaels after work, and you've just made my decision for me :D

Thank you for the suggestion! We were hoping to find printed pumpkin invitations, and if not, that's definitely an option. Thanks again!

Thank you for the suggestions! We've been searching for Halloween-themed wedding invitations, although those are great if we can't find them. Thanks again!

At hobby lobby or Mihcaels craft stores you can get do it your self invitation kits where if you have photoshop or something like it you could probably desighn your own and print them yourself. (You can also get ribbon from these craft stores to decorate the invitation with your wessing colors.)

Thank you for the reply! We're definitely considering DIY invitations if we can't find any that we like.

You can order background cards from www.formal-invitations.com, They have a templete for a vellum overlay. We did this, found a background design we liked, printed that on the vellum, then went back and printed our wording overtop. We also created matching RSVP postcards from Vistaprint. I think they also have invitations there.

Thank you for the suggestions! The first site looks good and we hadn't even thought about vistaprint. They have DIY invitations where we could add our own pumpkins, so we're looking at that. Thanks again!

If you decide to go with Vistaprint, make a small order first, not only will this let you see their work, but they'll also send you emails with promo codes for free stuff. I kinda wish I had ordered my save the dates magnets first, then my rsvps probably would have been free, but live and learn.
