Fun with Tutorials [29 Apr 2005|01:12pm] haligh [ music | Emmett Tinley - I Want You ] So... I was very bored indeed and decided to make some icons. Having no inspiration of my own, I figured it was as good a day as any to play around with some tutorials and whatnot to see what I could come up with. Results of the experiment follow. :-) Jude Law by way of this tutorial by _red_rain_drops. 01. 02. Joss Stone by way of this tutorial by snidgety. 03. 04. Aaaand... Tomiko of D.A.I. by way of this tutorial by strutterms. 05. 06. And that be it for now. Comment if you take any of them. Credit is always quite nice. Also, if you have any requests for icons in the style of the first or third ones, let me know and I'll be happy to throw one together for you. I decided I didn't much like the second tutorial I used because the coloring is so finicky and mine came out absolutely nothing like theirs. And I'm not saying I don't like the icons that I came up with using it, 'cause I do, especially the first one. It just wasn't a very universal tutorial. Which is why I put the border and whatnot on there. If it wasn't going to look like the one in the tutorial, may as well look nice to my standards.
