My boyfriend was playing Pokémon while on the phone to me.

He squeaked with joy, and said to me, "My egg's hatching!" and turned up volume.

The egg hatch music plays. Just the exact second the Pokémon's cry plays, someone texts him, and his tone is Phoenix's objection.
   
Him: Tabby, guess what that is!
Me: ...A lawyer?
Him: Attorneys don't just hatch from eggs, you know.




...well, I giggled.

Hahah. My default ringtone is the Steel Samurai ringtone (yay midi). I kind of cracked up when it went off while I was in the courthouse for jury duty and everyone looked at me funny.

Since one of my wallpapers is the "Objection!" graphic, there might be something to the text tone idea...

One of my ringtones is the Steel Samurai as well, but unfortunately it's too soft when it goes off, even on the highest volume. I only use it for one person anyway.

Heh, I made it specifically for when I was cosplaying Phoenix at ACen this year (the other members of my group kept calling, so it kept going off, this made me very happy), then just sort of left it. In part because my old default ringtone was Kefka's Theme from FFVI, and although it's an awesome ringtone, it was sort of unnerving to be woken up out of a sound sleep by the wacky-ominous theme of a genocidal psycho.

If I manage to finish Klavier cosplay for Otakon, of course, I will have to change it. ...He'd totally have a ringtone of his own hit song.
