Nothing really squicky in any of those pictures. I have slight spoilers under the first cut, and warning for a male/male kiss in the third cut.

Did anyone notice this before? My sister was doing research on the Watergate Scandal (you know, the Nixon thing?) and uh... We just realized that, well...

Watergate Hotel = Gatewater Hotel. O.O

You know, how the Republican Party bugged the Watergate Hotel to listen in to the Democratic National Committee in order to sabotage the democratic election machinery. Now as we recall in the Phoenix Wright cases of 1-2 and 2-4 the Gatewater hotel was bugged by April May and Matt Engarde.

Coincidence? My sister says she thinks not.

Props to the localizers if this isn't just some random connection. A comment for your thoughts?

Warnings: Hobo-Nick Abuse, Wild Logic and Assumptions, and Larry Quagmire-ing it up.
Summary: Meeting again after seven years, Larry knew instantly that something was wrong with Phoenix's head. It felt as if he'd become an entirely different man. Nobody believed him, of course. They saw nothing wrong. But, for once, Larry was right.
Notes: Co-written with my darling partner, The PCD of Court-Records.net. (She's got an LJ, but it escapes my mind at the moment.  Edits will arise once I remember it.)

Essentially, this is a wild and crazy romp through the post 4-4 world, and then some, based on some... interesting observations we've made about Hobo Nick, as well as Regular-Type Nick.

Plus, Larry stars in it.  How often does that get to happen to the Butz?  :D

There may be mild spoilers for AJ and the previous three games later on in the story, but it's fairly clean for now.  =)  Warnings will be put up accordingly as more chapters are posted.

Pairing: Genfic, gasp. Starring Damon Gant and Manfred von Karma as our antiheroes.
Rating: PG.
Warnings: Tons of bad jokes and Rule of Funny replacing any sort of real research. Also, if you're afraid of snakes... well. Also, no references to Rapist!Gant whatsoever. Shocking, I know.
Summary: It's the summer of 1977, and Manfred von Karma and Damon Gant are on the case of a bizzare theft that, in the vein of every case in Phoenix Wright, turns into a murder.
Notes: This was written for apl0tdevice as a part of gyaku_flash. I couldn't do a oneshot, so I made it the first chapter of what will hopefully be an epic.

I was playing The World Ends With You today(awesome game, btw), and one of the characters made a comment that first had me giggling, then went 'click' n my head so something completely unrelated made sense.

You guys know how Phoenix apparently scrubs his toilet shiny clean constantly, and we all assumed he was just a but OCD about it or something? Turns out that in Japan, it's believed that scrubbing your toilet bring you good luck with money. So our poor Feeny was not obsessed, just desperate enough to attempt to rub his way into an actual paycheck X3

I was just perusing through Ichiban Kan's new online store (they're an Asian dollar store based in California), and discovered that they are selling the Gyakuten Saiban figures for $2.50 a piece. :D They're a blind assortment, of course, so it's impossible to know which ones you're getting ... but it's a good price and they have reasonable shipping for those of us in the US. :)
