Who are Gwen Cooper and Owen Harper? What is Torchwood?
Torchwood is a spin off series from Doctor Who, starring Captain Jack Harkness. Set in Cardiff, Jack runs Torchwood Three with Owen Harper: Doctor, Toshiko Sato: Computer Scientist, Ianto Jones: Coffee boy (!) and new recruit, Gwen Cooper. Together they defend Earth against the alien threat. As Jack says: The 21st century is when everything changes, and you've got to be ready. As for Gwen and Owen, Gwen already has a boyfriend (Rhys) but there has been sexual tension between her and Owen since day one. After nearly being killed and eaten by cannibals, Gwen confides in Owen and ends up sleeping with him...several times during the series. |
| The contests |
| Challenges run for 2 weeks, and voting runs for one week. I will usually provide 3 or 4 images and you may enter up to 6 icons (although this does change). |
| The rules |
There are only a few rules,to make it fair for everyone.
~ Icons must fit the Live Journal standards: No bigger than 40 KB, in either JPG, GIF or PNG format.
~ The contest will be anonymous, so please do not post your icons elsewhere, including your own journal untill after voting has ended.
~ Only use the images provided, no adding other pictures.
~ You may do whatever you wish with the images provided, except put your name on the icon and use animation.
~ Brushes, textures, text etc are welcome.
~ Don't post icons anonymously because all comments are screened.
~ If all the rules stated above are not followed, the icon will be disqualified. |
