Hey everyone!
Remember Aniki's band before Guruguru,
shame? His real little brother Maeda Kazuhito is on vocals as CUTT. They did a cover of "LEMONed I Scream" for the hide Tribute Spirits CD.
Well, after breaking up in 2002, earlier this year they resumed activity as
SHAME, releasing a mini-album called "EASTER EP". Currently, they are in the middle of a 'coupling tour' with the band
Gargoyle. (Guruguru Eigakan also joins in for a few of the dates.)
For the tour, they released a (tour-only) split CD with Gargoyle called "SPLIT OUR SPIRIT" and made special SHAME/Gargoyle wristbands. If anybody still has a chance to see this tour, I highly recommend it! Both are wonderful bands. Initially I didn't know what to expect from SHAME, but I ended up really loving them! CUTT has a beautiful voice, and the songs themselves are really great.
If anybody wants to hear, you can find full length (!) samples of every song from "EASTER EP" on their Myspace profile, and there is a live video clip of "GET READY -we are free-" at Mina-kuru.jp:

- Guruguru are planning their yearly trip again. The date is set for September, like last year.
(This is a two-day trip the band takes fans on. Last year they arranged all sorts of fun things and events, I believe there was an acoustic show too.)
- Some interesting tidbits from their April Kanekodiru interview:
Although they released a series of records, apparently nobody in the band actually owns a record player! Haha, they said they listen to them on CD instead.
Aniki, Tama, and Shin didn't know until the interview about "Iya na shi"'s title being related to the release date! (18/7/4) xD "Oooohhh!! (surprise)" "I realized it just now, too!" Amano said he does a lot of things without telling anybody else. He was the only one who knew about the record jacket designs ahead of time too. :D
