AboutThis is a community to discuss GURPS (Generic Universal RolePlaying System), including discussion of house rules and individual campaigns. Please keep your posts GURPS-related, although going off-topic in the comments is permissible on occasion.
You may advertise your play-by-email or other online-type game here only if it uses the GURPS ruleset and then only in one post. When you are no longer accepting new players, you must edit your post to reflect that. Advertising of offline games is not recommended, because it is unlikely that many members of this community live in your geographic area. However, you are welcome to post describing your campaign in such a way that it is interesting to those who will not be playing in it (talking about the setting, house rules and so on) and then add a note at the end stating that it is open to new players in whatever area you live in. Just make sure the majority of the post is of interest to those not in your geographic area.
There will be no discussion of pirating of game products in this community. This community intends to follow the rules in Steve Jackson games's online policy, so please be aware of those rules and don't post sketchy things. Notably, don't post charts or other text from the books. Quoting a line of text with a page number as part of an argument over a rule is fine, that pretty clearly falls under fair use, but keep it short and only to the text really needed to back up your position.
