Apparently, something I said in my last entry worked because there are now 14 members and 12 watchers. If you've pimped the comm, thank you very much, because it worked. Yayness! :D

| [ mod ] Challenge Update & Affiliate |

We're still alive here. I'm just waiting for a few more members before I put the challenge up. There are currently 12 members and 9 watchers. I'd love to have a few more of each before I start the contests up. Until then, it would be appreciated if anyone could promote us even in their personal journals. No spamming of course, and it's completely voluntary.
In other news, I am happy to announce that there is a new affiliate, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) wr_chorus, dedicated to Wolf's Rain. Check it out if you enjoy the series! They're getting started and it looks like it should be a good community.

Alright, a mod update since the last post was in November. No one submitted any icons. I'm putting the contest on hold until there are more members. Right now, there are 10 members and 11 watchers, which I though would be enough to run the first contest, but I guess not.

| Week 01 - Scan Challenge |

gunnm_icontest officially has 10 watchers and 11 members, which means we can have our first challenge! Who's excited? I am.
For our first challenge I decided it would be a scan challenge.
Rules to remember:
{x} Only one submission per week.
{x} Standard LJ icon rules apply. 100x100 pixels, gif, jpg, or png, and no more larger than 40kb.
{x} Submissions must remain anonymous until the winners are announced.
{x} Icons must be made by you.
All comments are screened. Icons are due by Friday, November 4th, 2005 at 10PM EST.
When you submit, please include the image and the URL, like this (click on the image to view):

The new layout is up! I finally found a good override, provided by aery, that inspired the layout. Hopefully we'll have enough members and watchers to start soon!
Also, a not-so-random plug for the new Gunnm-related community battleangelicon, by kamuiangel, for all of your Gunnm icon needs! :)

gunnm_icontest officially has 10 members! Yay! We can start the first contest, once there a few more watchers. Tell all your friends. :D
In the next couple weeks I should be working on the layout and making this place look good.
Also:
People keep requesting posting access. This is not a community to share icons... it is an icon contest community. Sorry, I just had to mention it.

Welcome to gunnm_icontest, a livejournal community for fans of Yukito Kishioro's series Gunnm and Gunnm: Last Order to test their icon making skills. We are still in the process of building the community, but feel free to join.
The community will officially start the first competition when we have 10 members.
I am also looking for affiliates and theme ideas. If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment!
