For the more technical aspects of guitar, such as comments about different amps and various gear, perhaps you should check out the guitargeek community.
Of course discussion about individual guitarists (as opposed to their songs) is welcome. Anything that would help a person of any skill level learn cool stuff to play is more than welcome.
Oh, and I'd like to ask new members to introduce themeslves. Not a requirement or anything, but I just think it's nicer as a community if everyone say something, maybe how long they've played, or why they decided to join. It's all good.
