Concerning the Community [{ Saturday } December 30th, 2006 at 9:24pm] dark_branwen [ mood | confused ] [ music | "Sway" by The Perishers ] Okay, dudes et dudettes.  Here is the deal.  If you haven't noticed, I have a tendency to sort of neglect this community in favor of some others, and now that I've added pgsm_lims on to the repetoire, I really don't have time to keep this place up.  So, I feel like we have the following options. 1) I can hand over the reigns to someone else/multiple someone elses. 2) We close up shop. Normally, I'd be totally opposed to number two, but the fact is that we really only have two or three people consistently turning in icons, voting is usually pretty dismal with seven or eight people making totally opposing choices, and so on and so forth.  So if someone really wants to keep this place up, that's fine, but I just want everyone to be aware that participation is not so hot and I don't forsee it picking up any time soon. If we do close, I would encourage everyone to join guardiansenshi, an icontest that runs on a rotation of theme>>lyrical>>provided image.  We're even on the lyrical shift right now. Either way, I'm resigning myself from modly duties and I want to thank everyone who did manage to participate for doing so.  It's been a blast, and I hope to see you around the internetz.
