Groupies Unite.
This community is fairly straight forward. G.U. is the very first LJ community for "groupies" (or any avid celebrity meeter) of all kinds: moderate, experienced, or wannabes/hope-to-bes, or maybe you're just a voyeur who loves celebrities as much as we do.
Whatever the case, join in on the fun! Anything goes--discuss fave celebs, celebs you desire to meet, or even encounters you've had with them. Share tips, photos, and general chat about any celebrity imaginable--this could be a band, musician, actor, actress, model, athlete, author, artist, etc. etc. etc. etc. The sky is the limit.
Most importantly, the goal of this group is to become a full fledged "Groupie Network". Share news/rumours and any info you've heard about celebs coming to town--so that you and your fellow groupies have a chance at meeting your favourite celebrity in the flesh! Because of this, this community will be readable by "members/friends only"--so join the community if you want to get in on the insider info to help you in trying to meet YOUR fave stars!
