The prime purpose of this community is, of course, the fiction, but anything is fair game. If it's about Grissom or kinks, it's appropriate here. That means icons, art, or discussions on why Grissom would make a great Dominant (or submissive, or what he'd look like in eyeliner or whatever else) are welcome. It's hard to set up "rules" as such for a place like this, as we'd like to keep things pretty much easy-going, and don't want anyone to be afraid of posting. But here's a start.
1. First things first; you must be 18 or older to join this community (or whatever the legal age of consent is in your place of residence). There WILL be adult content in this community, and it is not a place for children. There. I said it.
2. All submissions MUST contain a kink. How kinky is up to you (anything from foot fetishes to bondage and breathplay is fair game), but this isn't the place for vanilla sex or gen fic. Stories can have some vanilla, but most be at least equal parts kinky. NOTE: Grissom does NOT need to be the one with the kink. He can be new to the experience or just indulging someone else's wishes.
3. All stories, drabbles or poems longer than 100 words, lengthy discussions, artwork or icons must be placed under a cut. If you don't know how to use lj cuts, please check it out here.
4. Be mindful of spoilers, especially for the sakes of our overseas fans. If you're spoiling an episode, put a note and put spoilery stuff behind a cut.
5. Please use the following header for fiction and art. This is mostly for consistency, and so we can archive things more easily.

As far as ratings go, please use the Movie Industry standard rating system: G, PG, PG-13, R, and NC-17. Again, this is just for consistancy. If we get multiple types of rating systems, mass confusion may ensue. Specific guidlines for rating your fic are:
G: Suitable for children of all ages. Since this is a community for kinks, we don't expect to see a lot of this.
PG: More or less clean, but you may have implied some naughty things. No bad words, no real action beyond a kiss or two.
PG-13: Some bad words and non-graphic naughtiness.
Now, between these R and NC-17, it's more or a matter of personal taste. Both indicate that there will be graphic (and in the case of this community, kinky) behavior, probably with explicit language, and the possibility of potential-squick material. Use your best judgement on this.
When in doubt, choose a higher rating.
6. Absolutely NO character bashing. We realize this is a little vague, so we'll try our best to explain. All the characters on CSI are flawed. Even our beloved Grissom. It's okay to portray them this way. But exhibiting a character's flaws in order to celebrate your hatred for him or her is character bashing.
Good rule of thumb: if there's a character you have no sympathy for, avoid making them the central part of the story. After all, we're here for the kink, right?
7. On a related note, be courteous and accepting of other people's ships. We know that there are ongoing wars between various Grissom-centric ships, and we don't want to see this community caught in the crossfire. This is the place for stories and art, not for debating the merits of various ships. Our hope is that this community will have plenty of flavors to choose from, and that everyone can be happy. If you don't like pistachio, order chocolate. Don't get pissed because the ice cream stand offers pistachio.
