Grey's Anatomy focuses on young people struggling to be doctors and doctors struggling to stay human. It's the drama and intensity of medical training mixed with the funny, sexy, painful lives of interns who are about to discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Real life only comes in shades of grey

1. Personal Attacks/Rude Comments - Personal attacks/rude comments directed at the cast members and/or other community members is not tolerated. Please see this post if you need further information on this.


2. Spoiler Policy - There is an official discussion post for each new episode. We will not start approving posts related to that new episode for 3 days after it airs. Please note that all posts for up to a week after the original airing must be LJ-cut. All spoilers for future unaired episodes must be under a LJ-cut.


3. The Spin-Off (Private Practice) - With the spin off picked up, we are no longer allowing discussion of it in this community unless your post also relates to Grey's Anatomy. Any post directly about the spin-off will be rejected. If you wish to discuss the spin-off please see pp_discussion.


4. Cast Sightings - Just saw your favorite Grey's Cast member in a TV show or movie outside of Grey's Anatomy? That's great, but please check this post before you post about it, to make sure that it hasn't been shared with the community before.


5. Icons - We no longer allow icons to be posted directly to the community. To have your icons promoted in our community, fill out the form on this post.


6. Graphics - Graphics, wallpapers, mood themes & other media may be posted here. Any large graphics must be posted under a LJ-cut. Thumbnail versions linking to the real version can be posted without a LJ-cut. Posts may only have 3 thumbnails outside of a LJ-cut. Only GA related graphics may be posted directly to the community. 7. Downloads - We will not approve posts that in anyway provide or encourage illegal uploads of copyrighted downloads. Any such comments will be deleted.


8. Requests/Community Promotion - All requests should be posted here (and not directly to the community). If you have a related community/website you would like to promote please post here.


9. Common Questions - You'll find answers to common questions such as where can I find screen caps or quotes, where does the show film, etc located in the community FAQ or the show FAQ.


10. Miscellaneous - We do not approve posts with petitions, that are offering items for sale (unless directly related to a charity), posts being used to get answers for your homework (or studies), or in a font/type face other than the standard.
