About Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} gravi_awards, a Gravitation icon challenge community. Each week, a special theme will be given. Participants will submit icons related to this theme, and icons will be voted on.1. Each participant may submit two icons (that doesn't mean you have to submit two, it's a choice) per theme (at the moment, we have two themes per week) - Manga or Anime, both are acceptable! ---a. Fanart is only acceptable if you give credit to the artist and also provide a URL link to the fanartist's site where fanart was found. Know where your image is coming from. 2. All icons must be related to Gravitation. 3. Submitted icons must be compatible with Livejournal. [100x100 and 40kb] 4. Don't advertise your icon(s) (tell your friends to vote for your icon(s) - and do not post it -anywhere- until the contest is over) Expect to be banned if you do. 5. Submitted icons must be no more than 7 days old. 6. You may not vote for your own icon(s). 7. Do not use Live Journal user pics as a form of hosting. Get a Photobucket account, use imageshack.us or use greatestjournal image hosting. All of those are free. (Note: These rules are modified rules from inuawards.)So, here's how it works. On Friday evening, a mod will give you a theme. Icons related to the theme can be submitted from Friday to Friday. Comments to the submission post will be screened. The submission should contain the following information: [example]  http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/gravi_awards/layout/thryu.jpg (and make sure the url works) ^_^ [submission times] Friday [7pm CST] - Friday [9pm CST] Voting will take place from Friday to Sunday. Members of the community will comment on the "voting" post (comments will be screened), saying which icon they like the best. The icons will be numbered, so you merely have to state the number(s) of the icon(s) you like. Note: Some weeks the mods may choose to use voting polls. Don't bitch about it. It's for our convenience. Not yours. Results will be posted on Sunday night.
