Time was a tricky thing.

It never seemed to worry him before, he always did thing in the moment. He had some naive' philosophy that resembled 'live in the moment' and he’d lived by it; breathed by it even.

Now it was all about time. He could tell you exactly how long it had been since he settled into his new home; that damn chair. How long it had been since the phantom pain first plagued him and gave him something akin to false hope.

Time was a curse to him now; it was almost as oppressive as the chair.
