01. LJ-cut and label: spoilers, not-work-safe items, large images
Consult the LJ FAQ if you don't know how to make an LJ-cut.
02. Use friends-lock on: episode/music uploads, scans from official books
That's even if you link them off-community to your own journal. I don't care what you do in your own LJ, but friends-lock the post on the comm.
03. The DOs:
- Post your episode discussions, fanfiction, fanart, screencaps, image manip, icons, scans, actor-related info, AMVs, songs, RPG pimping etc, here! This is what this community is for!
- Try and title your posts. It helps to figure out where to put them when they're added to the memories.
- Check the community memories and tags before you post a question; the answer you need may already be there!
- Exercise common courtesy.
- Ask the mods when you're in doubt of something comm-related.
04. The DON'Ts:
- Don't use "fake LJ-cuts". They are not cool, they make you look stupid and they confuse people. If you don't know what a fake LJ-cut is, you're better off not knowing.
- Don't tYpE li3k diS. Anyone who does will get booted from the community faster than the riders can move while clocked-up.
- Don't post one-liners or quizzes.
- Don't change the text colour on a post. It can make things impossible to read on certain journals.
- If you are not sure if something can be posted, ask the mods first. Don't just post it and add "I dunno if this is allowed, if not please just delete the post".
- Don't disable replies to your posts. Such posts will be deleted without warning.
- Don't bother tagging your posts. The comm owner is obsessive about labelling things a certain way and will re-tag them herself anyway.
- Absolutely no pairing or character bashing will be tolerated.
