I've posted about this project over at the community for Animated a few days ago but response has been limited.   If this isn't allowed here please inform me and I will delete this post.

So Transformers: Animated, some people hate it; some people love it, some people can't decide if they like it or not so they just say they're amused by it.

Love it, Hate it, Amused by it? All the more reason to parody it!

There's already 2 Abridged series for animated that I personally know of but they're not often updated and from the looks of it interest was lost anyway.

So many series have great abridged parodies to go along with them; Transformers Animated shouldn't be left out of this really.

So I'm putting tougher a team. So far there's 2 people volunteering to do editing work (but when it comes to editing the more the better and less work for everyone) I do scripts but with input from everyone involved in the project.

( Then there's the matter of voices. )

 Michael Bell, the G1 voice actor for Prowl and Swoop is asking for fans' help!

"To all my Transformer buds,

I recently directed a demo for a series of motion graphic "Transformers" comics which could be downloaded via iPhone, iTouch, and other outlets. Many talented professional actors provided the voices for the characters in the demo including myself. The plan was to present it to IDW Comics who had shown more then a passing interest in this budding new concept. With a go ahead on producing the series, I would be employing the talents of as many of the original voices from the early series as possible. I had already cleared this with my fellow "Transformers" actors, and everyone was waiting in the wings for the response from the powers at IDW comics.

After months of mulling over it, they ultimately passed on the idea, and surprise surprise, decided to produce their own graphic motion novel without the voices or even the superbly heightened animation. So, essentially what you now have the ability to download is a plain old comic book.

Nothing new there.

Soooooo, I am taking my request to the troops. To all the die hard fans who I have met over the years at Botcon conventions, or who have written to me asking about my experiences working on one of the most inventive animated series in TV history- I need your help! I am requesting that you do something for me and my fellow actors, so we can in-turn do something really cool for you.

Please contact IDW and let them know that their concept of a series of comic books based on "Transformers" WITHOUT the talents of voice actors, especially many of the original voices, just doesn't cut it.

Please ask them to contract Creative Producers Chris Folino and William Katt, and make a deal for them to produce their concept of a downloadable graphic motion comic series of "Transformers" with professional actors, progressive animation, and lotsa sound effects.

On behalf of all those actors, animators, and studio techs that will get an opportunity to carry on a great tradition,

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Found one of my towels on the kitchen table. Not remembering having put it there, I picked it up and underneath was hidden my Animated Bumblebee. In pieces. His arms were off and one of his back leg panels had come off too. Fortunately, it was an easy fix for all parts, but it didn't take much of a stretch as to who the curly-haired 4 year old culprit was.
My question is this, she loves my Transformers and is always asking me to transform them over and over... and over... and over.. But she wants to play with them. She doesn't understand why certain ones I say no and I've had to remove all missiles and other kibble from all of them as a precaution (I don't want someone shooting themselves in the eye!).
Are there good Transformers toys for kids of that age that are both durable and entertaining so that she can have a TF of her own to play with? Bonus points if you can find one that doesn't make noise either!

A publicist from Entertainment Weekly sent us a tip on an article that has Michael Bay discussing some upcoming projects, one of which is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.  There isn’t a ton of new information but he says some good things about his plans for the script.

"I hate sequels that try to make it to the third movie. Pretend like we’re never having a third movie, so let’s go for broke on the second one. I hate those cliffhangers! Let’s just make this movie stand on its own."
