Because of the eyes being clear glass depending on the way the light hits her,her eyes can sometimes look like they are following you.

I just posted this in my journal and realized that as a link to my sales post here and in a few other communities I belong to it might get seen more and I can get more assistance and eye views. Why post here? Why desperate? Because my hospital bills are starting to really pile up so I've taken time when I've had the strength to put together a better looking collection of my clothes I have for sale.

If you buy something today (Tuesday, October 27) you will get it before Halloween - Shipping costs you cover will be close to what I pay to ship things. No fees for purchases made today (as in to cover Paypal fees). I can not vouch for any purchases made on Wednesday or later due to the closeness of the date though if you're willing to pay for next day delivery, I will definitely send it out same day so you can get it in time. Normally I do USPS Priority, but I'm going to use FedEx if it's cheaper since it comes with tracking and insurance.

Please note that I've posted in the descriptions if there's dirt or a tear or some such defect on any items so no refunds. Especially since it's so close to Halloween and I don't want to encourage people to purchase a corset gown only to return it after wearing it for an event or party or even just a regular photo shoot.

Go here to see lots of photos and descriptions of the clothes I have for sale. There's corsets, corset gowns, Tripp, Lip Service, and older more rare clothes from the SF/London days of my life ranging between 1993-1999.

I am selling everything I have due to the combination punch of nearly dying this past June due to Addison's Disease, followed by nine nights in the hospital, followed by weight gain due to steroids (no more fitting in my clothes for modeling), followed by an influx of bills from the hospital. So please please help by finding things I have you want. Combination purchases can get you discounts on not only shipping, but also on the items (more than three items to ask for a discount, please).

There will be more clothes posted over the next 24 hours, but none of them as exciting as the ones I have up now. More vintage goth clothing such as skirts, dresses, and such.

And just to put it in perspective, my medical bills are well over $10k for a nine night stay in the local hospital and all the tests etc. Plus I need to buy a roller/walker and can't afford one so the first thing I'm buying as soon as I sell enough clothes is one of those to help me get around. My cane isn't working since I need to balance my weight oddly with it. I've been approved for Paratransit (the local transportation taxi-type service for people with disabilities bad enough to keep them from regularly using local regular transportation) and that costs money too, every time I go to the doctor which is at least three times a week currently. So yeah, my disability has me having to sell everything I can. Please feel free to pass this along. And I can definitely scan images of my bills and the discharge papers from the hospital this past June if anybody doubts the veracity of my situation.

Just curious, have any of our mods toyed with the idea of creating a sister Goth Royalty group on Facebook? I ask only because I use Facebook a lot more than I do LJ these days, and maybe that's true for others here as well, it may spur more participation.

Also, has anyone read the story of the Spanish Prime Minister's goth daughters meeting President Obama?

http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2009/09/obama_photo_reveals_the_spanish_prime_ministers.html

Too bad it's encouraging the usual spate of stupid goth-mocking.

Still, I thought it was a nice photo.

So I am 30 yrs old and can you believe that my family STILL gets on me about the "Goth thing". So annoying! I just received an email from a family member telling me that I looked inappropriate at the last family gathering due to my makeup and jewelry. They suggested that I come to family gatherings with less make up and toned down. Please tell me I am not alone...........

Share your experiences and rant. I need to know I am not the only person who deals with this type of thing as an adult.....

I am obsessed with this wallpaper and thought other royals may enjoy it as well! I have not bought any as of yet due to the cost but figured some here may want to know about it. Who would ever imagine someone would create wallpaper with bats, bones, and venus flytraps!!

A friend of mine, who has two young sons (referred to as "C" and "H") shared a funny story that I thought would amuse you all:

"C & H are really into Depeche Mode right now (yay!) H especially likes New Life. So C was singing along to Master and Servant, which made me a little nervous cuz, yeah, kinda an adult theme for a 5 year old. But I shouldn't have worried, because when I listened, what he was saying was 'Monster and Salad'."

Bwaa haa haa! Those lyrics are forever changed in my head!!

Well, after those ten days in the hospital I found out that I have not only Addison's Disease, but also Candida super allergies getting triggered by it growing in my esophagus and stomach due to the very steroids keeping me alive from the Addison's Disease. So yeah, lots of expenses - and then we got rear-ended and I still have marks where the car and I met up (yes I had my seat belt on and no, the bags didn't inflate).

Great, right? So if you know anybody who needs or desires some nice clothes please feel free to share the links I'm posting below with the world since all the money I make selling the clothes that I will never be able to fit in again due to the steroids will go toward my medications, food, and hospital bills. Which are stacking up. Quickly.

I'm having to sell some of the clothes that I love very much, including pieces made by our very own [info]batty. *SOB*

To see many more photos of each item just go to here to see lots more As far as the prices are concerned I am flexible with some, but not with others. The Lip Service or latex for instance...there will be more added to this every other day so keep an eye out for them!

The prices do NOT include shipping. Shipping will be done based on weight and package size. FedEx Ground for anything over 5 pounds (aka for gowns) and USPS Priority Flat Rate Box for everything else. Paypal payment preferred - especially need verified addresses for shipping and insurance purposes. In order for you to look up shipping costs you can use my shipping zip code of 94611.

If you follow the link you will see many, many more photos of the items, including close ups of any flaws. Questions answered quite happily. I am also willing to listen to advice on pricing of items as I know what I paid for them and what they're worth, but also the economy makes it tougher right now. So feel free to private message me with any assistance you might gently offer. *Grin*

I'm very ill so excuse any typos or messed up phraseology, please. And know that I'll be posting another fifteen or twenty items in my journal in the upcoming day or so. I'm also considering just doing a large lot sale on Ebay. Remember: I'm doing this rather than asking for donations or a charity or anything like that. I'm struggling with something very normal in this world: a life-threatening illness, an inability to work, and a need for money to pay for my hospital and other medical bills, as well as food and sundries.
