Welcome to the LJ community for the members of GothicAuctions.com, the original auction site for the damned, undead and colour challenged. This community is the place to interact with other groovy ghoulies from GothicAuctions.com, promote your own gothic auctions and share your experiences from the site. Had a bad transaction? How about a good one? Just listed a bunch of killer items? We want to know!

To keep this community unique to the GothicAuctions.com (aka GA) experience and from becoming just another dark buying/selling community, there are a few guidelines to keep things running smoothly.

+ You must be a member of GothicAuctions.com in order to join or post here. If you have no interest in joining or using GothicAuctions.com, this is not the community for you. There are plenty of other dark and goth related buying & selling communities on LJ that would be better suited for you.

+ We encourage you to join all the auction sites you want. DarkBay, Goth Auctions, Laundromatic and whatever else is out there, but again if you are not also a member of GA this is not the community for you.

+ When advertising non-GA auctions or sales, please limit them to one post within a period of 7 days. There are no limitations on GA postings, so long as they're kept within reason.

+ Try to keep advertisements short and to the point. Keep long listings and any more than one image behind an LJ cut. If you're not sure how to do an LJ cut, please see the FAQ. It's easy peasy!

+ If reporting on a transaction, good or bad, keep it factual, to the point and with as little drama as possible. Drama isn't cool boils and ghouls. And LJ drama definitely isn't cool. Name calling, insults, ignorance and all that crap isn't necessary nor wanted.

+ Feel free to make 'wanted' posts! Someone out there in LJ land might just have it available for you. But don't forget to search GA first, it might be there waiting for you to snatch it up.

+ No advertising of other communities or things that aren't relevant to the community. Rating communities are not relevant to anything, ever, so don't post ads for them. And keep in mind that this is a goth based community. Posts advertising auctions/items that aren't goth/dark in nature will be deleted.

+ Last but not least (for now) have fun babies! Oh and buy & sell oodles!
