{C14} IRIS, AUDRA, & THE PASSING HOUR ADDED TO THE C14 LINEUP!
IRISA welcome addition to our annual net.goth gathering, Iris is known for their retro-flavored tunes blended with catchy, yet haunting lyrics. From their debut album, Disconnect and its dance-floor favorite "Annie, Would I Lie to You", to their latest release, Wrath, reviewers have lauded their music using words such as "perfect" and "sublime" to describe their synth-tinged melodies. AUDRAAudra's music harks back to the early days of gothic rock enhanced with a longing, heartfelt, ethereal sound. Signed to Projekt Records, bandmates and brothers Brett Helm and Bart Helm, along with drummer J. DeWolf, are the embodiment of Audra's sharp, intense stage presence and well-crafted songs that never fail to mesmerize a crowd. THE PASSING HOURThe Passing Hour press-kit consisted of a CD and a handwritten sticky note saying that they would love to be a part of Convergence. The music on that CD demonstrated that they had the chops needed to wow the revelers. Their album, "Forever This Day," and the dark music within, gives one a taste of the potential of this up and coming band, who includes alt.gothic's very own Timly Grae as one of their members.. We are happy to welcome Louisville, KY's The Passing Hour to the C14 lineup. {C14} Bands & DJs Announced For C14!
We are proud to announce two bands that will be appearing at Convergence 14 this year. Faded Sympathy will be traveling all the way from Columbus, OH, in order to entertain you with their with their unique brand of gothic rock. Combining post-punk of the early 80s with a 90s shoegazer sensibility, they are a welcome addition to the stage of Convergence 14. Also joining us will be Tampa's The Synthetic Dream Foundation, whose music ranges the map from EBM Industrial to Dark Ambient/Industrial and back again to experimental endeavours. Samples of this enterprising band may be heard here. We are also pleased to announce that our Main Event will be graced with the DJing skills of Cleveland's own SpinMistress Batty. Last seen at Convergence 9, we are delighted that she will once again be providing her considerable skills for Convergence 14. For those who will be present at the Pre-Party, the enjoyment of the ministrations of DJ Sonny Crocket will be yours. Fast cars, fast women, fast internet connections - these are tell-tale signs of a Vice DJ. Detective Sonny Crockett is a nine year veteran of the Macross City Vice unit, protecting citizens from criminally bad tunes with a weekly net radio broadcast originating beneath the palm trees at IPM Radio. Hereafter is a Mulifandom Roleplaying Game. I know, oh god, another. But wait, don’t run yet. Instead of throwing your character into a crazy and new situation without a paddle; here they have something to do. If they don’t help their team, there are consequences. For those who were once strong, they’ll have to fight to regain their powers. And for all you old school fans, we’ve even added in a few light touches of the original RPGs. But don’t worry, it’s nothing terribly central. All you new kids just need to read a few things and decide if you want your character to do job A or job B. So come on down and give us a try, we promise that you’ll at least be amused.

Radio Golgotha - News & Upcoming Events
It has been an incredible first month. We have had hundreds of unique listeners tune in from as far away as Finland, Canada, Hong Kong and dozens from our home base in Tampa, FL. We are particularly happy to welcome out German visitors which have made up almost 20% of our listenership. Now that we have stablized some of the technical launch issues, we will continue to add to our library of albums so that there will new music in rotation everyday including some smaller, but very interesting regional talent. We also have new sets from DJ Devious, Maus and DJ Xanthus set to premiere next week. In the next few months, we'll continue this trend with the programming shifting towards more Djs, more often.
