I’ve just self-published two huge photo books about The Batcavbe. Covers and all details are behind the cut. I realise it may not be specifically geo-centric, but hopefully it is of interest to anyone interested in Goth.

THE BATCAVE remains the best known Goth club in the history of the genre, and here we have two huge photo books of classic images, of exciting bands, covering its original existence.

THE BATCAVE Volume 1 – £19.99
A 620 page photo book containing 818 images of happenings at The Batcave during 1983. You will find Alien Sex Fiend (three gigs), Ausgang, Danielle Dax (posed session), F1 Electric, Marc Almond, Pork Helmets, Sexbeat, Specimen (four gigs), along with the club itself, including staff, regulars, crowd and cabaret artistes/dancers.

THE BATCAVE Volume 2 - £19.99

A 572 page photo book containing 789 images of happenings during 1984/1985, featuring: Alien Sex Fiend, Anorexic Dread, Ausgang, Bone Orchard, Christian Death (Rozz Williams), Let’s Wreck Mother (post-Sexbeat), Pepperlip (featuring Jo Bones), Sexbeat (that’s Sophie on the cover), Specimen (two gigs), Tabatha’s Nightmare (Mark Tinley/Marcus Scott), Zero Le Creche and Zor Gabor (former Banshee guitarist John McKay), along with shots within the club of staff, crowd and regulars.

The vast majority of these photos are previously unpublished. Details on how to order prints of images included in rear of each book.

You need to register on the Lulu site to buy books which is easy. DO NOT use their express post, which costs far too much. If in the UK or US just use the normal inland service (not ‘express’), and if you are outside the UK or US stick with ‘economy’ which is simply their term for normal airmail. (If so inclined buy more than one book because the postage costs come down sharply. All books are very well packaged. If you are a business when you buy more than 10 books the cost of the actual books decreases too.)

Fright Night is looking for vendors for its July 24th show as well as future shows.
If you would like to vend please download this form, fill it out and email it back to us at frightnight@batsday.net ASAP. Space is limited.

This is a Word Doc form. Please open it in Word, fill it out and save it when you are finished. If you are having problems please let us know.

The event will be located at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro, CA. 478 West 6th Street San Pedro, CA. The dates for the events are July 24th, August 28th, September 11th, October 2nd, and December 4th. Each of these dates are Fridays. You can check out the event website @ http://www.frightnightla.com . Each vendor spot will be only $60. The event will run from 7:30pm to about 2am.

If this is something that you would like to part take in please send us an email to frightnight@batsday.net and let us know what months you would like partake in. We will send you an application as soon as we have them. Reservations have started filling up so please let us know soon so that you will not miss a month that you would like to vend. Spots are on a first come first serve basis.

HEART OF DARKNESS will bring you the best of Industrial / Goth / EBM in the revival of Singapore's premiere goth party of the not-so-distant past. Revel in the primal contagious rhythm layered over the blistering hits--culminating in the lushest and rawest party fit to do your collective rivetheads in.
