Well I know there's the whole LJ strike today, but I wanted to ask if you guys would mind if I were to post some of the pages of UC over at [info]scans_daily? They really love comics there, and they enjoy webcomics too. It's a pretty large community and it might help spread the love.

Great, now which comics do you recommend I post there to help draw people in?

How do you think I should describe UC to new readers? I'm not sure any description I make will do this webcomic justice.

Great idea. I've noticed the comic isn't on Stumble Upon. I don't know if either of you two have it, Artist-chan, Author-sama, but if not, I'd gladly post your description for it. And tags. Would you sort it under 'comic books'?

If you don't know SU, it adds a toolbar on your browser that lets you access the SU site. Essentially, you stumble onto sites at random, and depending on whether you rate them positive or negative, it gives you more sites you might like. If nothing else, it helps you pass a half-hour of boring time. :3 Anyway, you can also choose to stumble within a category. If you put the comic listing under Comic Books, some people will come upon it at random. I've discovered a ton and a half of fun things through SU, and my sister and I are hooked.

and as for a description, "Superficially, UC may seem about to be a simple comic about a popular girl, her new brainy friend, the strangely apathetic boy that they hang out with, and their gothy outcast buddy. But when you add demons, secrets, strangely fated magical powers, and a school where everyone really is out to get you, then things get a lot more complicated. Filled with humor, romance, danger and drama, it updated MWF, with the occasional additional update off the regular schedual."

also, sorry for the taking a couple days. this weekend has been a little crazy.

hmm...while the whole chapter is fine, i would almost tend towards posting less pages, just because that's like...a lot of pages. oh man, i am articulate when i wake up. if you wouldn't mind editing it down to half, that would be fantastic.

and really? no worries with a post a day, or anything like that. while i am all for getting our name out there, i would rather not annoy people with constant reminders of our presence.

Okay I've edited it to about 16 pages. It was 28 pages before but I just don't think it would flow as well if I deleted anymore pages.

And a post a day is a pretty big annoyance. I'll probably make it once a week for the next little while.

Your welcome. I've really enjoyed this webcomic for the past few years, so I guess I just want to help you guys out a bit as a thank you to you two for creating it.

Anyways I'm sorry that the first post hasn't really gotten much feedback. So I don't know if I've gotten you any new readers yet. But chances are that some lurkers somewhere on the internet read my post and might now give UC a chance. There has to be at least one right?
