Hey guys, i was gone for a while Uni and stuff but im back, just caught up on the comic, looking good, nothing went wrong with the archive either xD (not going forward anyway)

Just playing with new toys, and thought I would share the results.

Hey, all! Given the art-week-of-undefined-length, I thought I should poke my head up and check in -- and say thank you so much for your patience. I was hoping to get back on track with the regular comic pages this next week. I've got the next chapter script to start drawing and everything. Unfortunately my schedule, which was already pretty intense from the last week of classes and my big, scary paper deadline, got even more chaotic when my grandparents got in a bad car accident last week.

Needless to say (even if I am going to be redundant enough to say it), hospital rooms filled with worried relatives aren't particularly conducive to getting comics drawn. I haven't drawn a single thing, UC page or otherwise, since a week before Thursday.

That being said, I'm hoping this next week is the last full-on art week I have to subject you to before the next chapter begins. Final exams start now, so I'm far cry from making guarantees, but with any luck the grandparents will be discharged soon (they're doing quite well now, thank god) and the world can right itself. We can go back to our usual level of chaos.

Really, guys, thank you so much for your patience. We'll be back on track soon.

Hey, all! This is just a picture of Kelsi I've been playing with in class. I was going to hoard it until I had gotten a chance to color her, but I've changed my mind. Aside from the fact that WHO EVEN KNOWS when I'll get a chance to color things that aren't proper pages, I wanted to do something to let you all know how much we appreciate you letting us know about problems so quickly. For example the magical disappearing page from last Friday (thank you so much, mythstae!), and the coding errors that crop up in the archives.

(Also, you might have noticed just how ludicrously long it's been since the archive links were updated -- cross my heart I'm planning to get a handle on that sometime this month. Things have been absolutely crazy with my final semester of law school, and I can't wait for finals so I can have some semblance of sanity again. Thank you so much for your patience, all!)

Hi hi! So apparently by "friday night" I meant "Saturday afternoon," but Friday's comic has finally replaced that (admittedly awesome) freaked out monkey.

So Betsy put up an AWESOME monkey to help soothe you all in the knowledge that Friday's comic isn't done yet. For which I am exceedingly grateful, by the way. And the plan was for me to get the comic colored and up tonight yet, before I crashed out -- but preparing for tomorrow's final MIGHT JUST kill me yet. I don't think I'm going to make it until early tomorrow. So it's not much delay, but I still wanted to apologize and forewarn and all that jazz.

I'll post art here tomorrow, too. Extra. Bonus. Probably incredibly silly. In the hopes of making it up to anyone that actually happens to see it.

The "last" button on the main page is broken again, for me anyway

Hey all, just a quick heads-up. quixoticwombat.com seems to have vanished from existence. You may not actually know what I'm talking about, but it's the webdomain we have the gallery and a couple other random bits of the comic site on. The archives and main page should be unaffected, but if you were trying to visit the gallery and failing at it? Now you know why.

I'm not sure what's up, but am suspecting technical difficulties on the host/server end of things. Because I can still log in and see all our files up, right where they belong. But they're not visible from the front end. I'm going to give it a day or two before I start pestering people, because I am the living embodiment of naive hope that these things will sort themselves out. On that note, apologies if the domain stays down for the next couple days.

Greetings, lovelies! It's been a hell of a long time since I had time to draw these guys for the love of it, rather than merely keeping up with comic pages. You might've noticed. *sheepish grin*

But! I got a new pen a couple weeks ago (and by 'pen' I mean 'brush' with refillable ink cartridges *glee*), and have since then been playing with it, trying to get the hang of it. Completely different from any other inking I've done in my life, though I think I love the thing.

Anyway, thought I'd share some of the successes (or 3 successes and an almost-success)!

we're having some technical computer/scanner issues tonight. good news, it will be fixed tomorrow! bad news. comic won't be up until monday evening at the earliest.
