i, like half of the planet, have been watching the Olympics. its probably a
good thing that they are 12 hours ahead of us in bejing, because i'd be glued to the tv even more than i already am (i'm even watching it while writing this post).
i couldn't help but think about the eco-impact that the games are having. i mean, all the buses and flights and other transportation involved, the lighting, and don't forget the building of a completely NEW facility just for the games. doesn't seem very eco-friendly to me. not to mention beijing's poor air quality for the olympians...
i decided to research it a bit and was very pleased with the outcome! the Olympics are being very green. the chinese have built an eco-friendly building and even back in 2004 the Olympic torch was made from eco-friendly wood. too bad, this year's isn't eco-friendly...

someone's bitter...
i'm wondering what commercials you guys are seeing during the broadcasts. there are lots of car commercials in the american broadcast--- hybrid commercials. just curious if the rest of the world is showing stuff like this.
also, i'm beginning to think that men's swimming is the only sport in the olympics this year. phelps is all over the games! at this point, if he placed 2nd, i'd be seriously disappointed in him.
