Welcome to ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} gorgeousbabies! We are the original photo contest community here on livejournal. We just celebrated our second year here on lj, and we don't plan on going any where any time soon! We pride ourselves in being 100% friendly. We do not tolerate any sort of rudeness or snarking. We ban on the first offense, no questions asked. In our two years here, we've only ever had to ban one person. Here, you'll find great mods, fun contests and prizes.Because of recent unfortunate events, we have been forced to make our community MEMBERS ONLY, for the protection of our members and their children. Here at GorgeousBabies we take reports of fakers seriously. We immediatley ban. From now on, in order to be come a member of our community, you absolutely MUST provide a salute of you and your child. No exceptions. So come on in and have a look around. We're happy that you are here! |
| Rules for Entering a Contest |
Please make sure you read and understand the rules prior to entering a contest. This helps minimize problems and confusion! -You must friend the community in order to enter a contest. -Each livejournal user may enter one photo per age group, per theme. You can not enter two photos in one age group. (example: If you have a four-year-old and a one-year old, a photo of each child may be entered in the same contest.) -We request that all photos be in the neighborhood of 500 pixels and fairly high quality. These are photo contests, if the quality of your picture is poor, it will not receive very many votes. Pictures that are too large are hard to take in, and inconsiderate to other users. Please keep these guidelines in mind! -When leaving a link to a picture, make sure it works! We're busy mommies and don't have the time to locate you to fix it. If we can't access your image, we will just delete your entry. -Please make sure your picture fits in with the contest's theme. If it doesn't, your submission may not be posted. Any Questions? | Rules for Voting in a Contest |
Please make sure you read and understand the rules prior to voting in a contest. This helps minimize problems and confusion! -Each contest will have a header that will tell you what you may vote for. It'll be either one boy and one girl, one photo from each age group, or sometimes just one vote. Be sure to check. -We use Polls for voting. All you have to do is select the name of the child, and submit! -Remember your manners! If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all! We will ban you for saying something rude. -Do not take anyone's photos out of this community for ANY reason. |
