We are very excited to introduce a fantastic new event. In game, GoPets travel from desktop to desktop, person to person, country to country. We thought it would be great fun if a GoPet plushie could travel in the real world in a similar way!
Allow me to introduce Kimbap, our GoPets Ambassador of good will.

Our famous plushie will be traveling from GoPets user to GoPets user!
Kimbap has already started her world tour, and we will share her adventures with you through various venues: through her own blog, in the forum thread, and in the official Gopets LiveJournal
Some long-time GoPets members have already volunteered to host Kimbap for a few days. They will treat Kimbap like a guest in their house and take her around their hometowns, showing her the sights! They will take 10 to 20 pictures of themselves and Kimbap as they both experience what is special about where they live. We will then post their pictures along with a write up outlining their adventures. :)
Every user who has successfully completed their tasks and have sent Kimbap off to her next friend will receive 2 items for their GoPets desktop.
One is the Kimbap doll for GoPets to love and hug!
The second is a Kimbap Hot Air Balloon!
GoPets members not able to participate in the real-life adventures of Kimbap will have a chance to participate and win in-game Kimbap items! Monthly online events will be hosted in a separate forum thread.

- If you have been holding on to the old 2D Treasure Chests, you can now open these to unlock your prizes.
- Crafting skills can no longer be leveled past skill level 300.
- Items like the Scarecrow, Oven, and Sewing Machine now give out correct bonuses of 25 skill points when put out on owners' lands.
- Low leveled fishing pets can no longer fish in fishing ponds that are higher than their levels.
- Our programmers seem to have found the farming bug and squashed it! Users can now harvest their crops.

GoPets User Spotlight
If you've been on the GoPets English Forums lately, you've seen some amazing talent being shown by the users there. We had over 550 entries for the recent Holiday Screenshot Contest! So many great desktops were entered that Priya, the host of the contest, had to postpone the date of the results being announced due to being unable to decide on just one!
Besides the fun desktops, many amazing customs were recently shown. One that caught our eye was not just a custom item, but a creation that combined a custom with lots of GoPets items to create a true work of art:
This beautiful fountain was created by Treguld, a user from the United States. She created a custom "carpet" of water, which she then coupled with the GoPets Water Mill and dozens of our rocks for a stunning effect.
Treguld even graciously wrote up a guide on how to build one for yourself! Take a look at her guide in the Custom Items section of the English Forums: So you want to build a fountain..
You can find many different custom pools of water in Treguld's User Store. And for more examples of her work, and creations inspired by her, check out this thread on the English Forums: Lots and lots of rocks, but worth it!. Be sure to look at all her pools and fountains, especially her newest creation on Page 6, a pool with a Dragon mosaic on the bottom! Wow!

- Premium items related to crafting, such as the GoPets Stove, the Scarecrow, and the Sewing Machine, should now give out the proper bonuses when they are out on lands.
- Copying and pasting text into gift message windows should no longer crash the client. However, only one line will be pasted; a complete fix to allow full pasting of messages will be deployed in a subsequent patch.
- The Pinata will now count down its daily turns properly. Also, if a visiting pet uses this item, it will no longer count towards the owner's daily limit. All three pets, the cat, dog and the panda, have proper animations for the Pinata.
- Two older Premium Items, Pounce Party Challenge and the GoPets Soccer Game, now give out prizes and shells! In addition, Pandas can now play Soccer, too!

GoPets has declared December to be Bug Smashing Month! We're going to end the year cleaning up stray programming bugs, little annoyances, and adding in helpful features to enhance your experience in GoPets.
For the month of December, we have some winter and holiday items scheduled for release. However, these will not be counted as Theme or GoCollector items. To compensate for this lack of items, we will be extending all Premium memberships for an extra month. This extension will happen on December 15, 2007 (KST). Anyone who is a Premium, GoCollector, or Premium Plus 12 member on December 15, 2007 (KST), will be eligible for this one month extension.
But don't forget, the only way to get this month's Premium Item, the Rainbow GoFuzz Micropet, is to be a Premium member this month. Become a member before December 15, 2007 and you'll get an extra month free.
Bug Smashing
We have a bunch of bug fixes scheduled to patch in the next couple of days. We will be doing periodic patches to ship these fixes as they happen. Stay tuned!
