PLOT
The Queen (played by Myung Se Bin) is in her early 30s but still unmarried.Because of this, in a condition where there cannot be a reduction in the number of successors to the throne, the present prince (the 1st successor) suddenly leaves the world and leaves a vacancy in the line of successors. So they go out to find the secret prince and finally find Lee Hoo (played by Se7en), who has been living outside the palace. Lee Hoo is the son of a prince and his mother who died early, had departed with his father and left the palace, hiding the fact that she was already pregnant. He does not know that he possesses royal blood and has lived, working as a delivery boy at a Chinese restaurant. Although usually, he has a "prince disease", he had never dreamt of entering the palace and receiving royal lessons. Lee Hoo, the unbelievable no. 1 successor to the throne and the perfect Lee Joon (played by Kang Du) will bring tension to the drama as they fight over the position. After Lee Hoo enters the palace, an important place will be the royal academy. It is a place for members of the royal family as well as descendents of wealthy families.

Based on the premise that Korea is a constitutional monarchy led by a queen, "Prince Hours" opens a new chapter in fusion fantasy historical drama. It seeks to explore in depth the idea of communication between people, as well as the repercussions of a breakdown in such communication.

By introducing a protagonist from a simple, working-class background to palace life, the show endeavors to find common ground for communication that begins at vastly differing eye levels.

If there are no "perfectly parallel" lines in the world, all lines must surely meet someday; conveying the hope for this future "intersection" is the new yet familiar objective of "Prince Hours."


CHARACTERS

Lee Hoo Also known as Kang Hoo in his common life, Hoo works as a noodle delivery boy for a Chinese restaurant. He has a tendency to mischievous and always getting in trouble until he later learns about his hidden past and royal family. Now, he enters the Palace to become the next Prince against another competitor and also finds himself with conflicting love interests. What's a delivery boy to do? Yang Soon Yi Working as a maid, Soon Yi determines to be promoted to a higher status in the Palace. Not only that, the potential prince, Lee Joon, also has an interest in her.. Lee Joon His father had always trained him to accept his duties as a royal member of the Palace. Before, Joon was guaranteed to be the next prince even with court on his side, but then Hoo unexpectedly shows up to also compete for the same position. This causes an inconvenience for Joon, however, he is still determined to get what he wants in the end.
