Hello and welcome to

goodicon_awards! This is an elite community where you may nominate and vote upon icons that trully deserve an award for their spectacular awesomeness. :D

Icons may be of any movie, tv show, play, actor/actress, or stock photo (basically anything that can be iconed. However, each of these fit in a different category, so make sure you nominate it in the correct category (however I, along with others, will be here to help you with the categorization of the icons).

And now...the always dreaded...

Rules:
[1] Icons nominated must come from an elite community.

[2] No hotlinking. This is a given...it's pretty much a rule everywhere. So seriously, don't do it. It's rude and inconsiderate. So don't.

[3] Icons must be no bigger than 100x100 pixels.

[4] You may only nominate up to 5 icons per category.

[5] If you are nominating, you must nominate at least 3 icons, which may or may not be made by the same icon maker.

[6] You may only nominate a specific icon in one category, even though it may fit the requirements of many.

[7] As like in every other awards community I've been to, you can nominate your own icons but not vote for them.

[8] Please let the person who made the icon you nominated know that you nominated it.

[9] Please include the icon makers main journal (icon/graphic journal may be included) along with the icon.

[10] Please do not nominate any icon that contain material you wouldn't see on public access television.

[11] You may promote other communities here as long as you post it with a nomination.

[12] (even though it is last, it may be the most important) There will be no bashing in this community. Any rude behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be banned from the community upon your first "bashing incident". There will be no warnings.

Icons that show a unique talent for the graphic arts should be nominated in this category.

You Are All That I Have - Best Couple Icon

Icons that show a couple in a way that perfectly captures said couple's relationship should be nominated in this category.

Green Eyes - Best Use of Color

Icons that show a unique coloring scheme should be nominated in this category.

White Flag - Best Black and White Icon

Icons that show a unique talent for the graphic arts should be nominated in this category.

Disappearing World - Best Textless Icon

Icons that have everything but text should be nominated in this category.

Sexyback - Best Use of Text

Icons that match text with the emotion of the icon should be nominated in this category.

Think of Me - Best Emotional Icon

Icons that evoke a strong emotion from the viewer should be nominated in this category.

You're Still You - Best Actor/Actress Icon

Icons that show an actor or actress not in character (as themselves) should be nominated in this category.

Umm, Helllllo? - Best Use of Humor

Icons that make the viewer laugh should be nominated in this category.

Michael - Best Main Character Icon

Icons that show the main character (if there is one) and represent their true personality should be nominated in this category.

Jessie's Girl - Best Supporting Character Icon

Icons that show perfectly show the personality of a supporting character(s).

Bouncin' off the Walls - Best Use of Cropping

Icons that show a unique way of looking at a specific picture.

Sway - Best Animated Icon

Icons that are animated...that's pretty much it.

The Wind - Best Stock Icon

Icons that show a stock image...again, that's pretty much it.

Icons that meet the specific requirements of that week's category.

Okay, for these examples I used my own icons, but only because they are the only ones I have access to right now. So these will be changed after some time. I realize these are all basically from the same thing, but once again, they will change.
