So you don't like Mary Sues. You know where to find them all, of course, because you've seen communities dedicated to the destruction of Sues of any and all fandoms. But you're having a bit of a time finding some good fanfiction. If this is you, you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Center for Good Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fanfiction!

This is an open community, so you can post as soon as you join as a member. There are a few rules, though:

1) Please, no Mary Sues. If you think there is even a possibility the story you are about to recommend is about a Sue, please check the Sue against a litmus test before posting about the fic. Thank you for your courtesy.

2) Please make sure that the stories you are recommending have good grammar/punctuation/spelling, and do not have author's notes in the middle of their stories, etc. Generally I think we all require this in our fanfiction, but it can't hurt to remind people.

3) No flaming. Just because you hated a story doesn't mean you have to bitch out the person who liked it.

4) No spam. Try to keep posts on topic, people.
