AboutEveryday, it seems like we have a conversation with our friends about how we'd love to start saving money, but we don't want to give up all of our mortal possessions to do it. There's the obvious (get a savings account) and the subtle tricks that we can all share with each other that will add up in the long run.
A few ground rules:
1. Some people had college loans. Some people ran up a lot of debt during and right after college. Some of us did both. Please don't criticize anyone for their past behavior. Be solution oriented. If you're going to provide criticism or a suggestion, please do it constructively.
2. If you're posting a link to a service or other type of site, make sure it's legitimate before sharing it with the community.
3. No posts requesting financial assistance. If you ask the members for money, your post will be deleted. Suggestions and questions only.
4. These posts do not constitute financial advice. Check with a financial advisor prior to taking an major action regarding your finances.
