This community is for high quality Harry Potter icons. What we mean by Harry Potter is anything with book and/or movies related icons. This also includes all the actors from Harry Potter outside their roles. Though HP actors in others roles are not allowed. We only talk about the whole Harry Potter universe. Welcome!
We maintain a closed membership, which means that you must make extremely good icons to get in to this community! We don't want pixel fonts (unless used right), we don't want icons with bad cropping and nasty effects, we don't want icons using templates, etc. I've grown more strict to the applications, so please take note of that. I will be much more picky.
We have no problem with beginners, but we want you here after you've gotten good. Apply once you've gotten the feel for icon making and are making extraordinary ones! |
Rules |
FOR POSTERS:
• No bases unless posted with other icons. Icons without text are ok, but not a 100x100 picture.
• If you post more than 3 icons, LJ-cut, and/or post an outside link to your icon post in your journal. Fake cuts are ofcourse fine!
• All posts MUST contain icons. If you want to promote your new community/journal, have other graphics, etc. that's fine, but only with some icons to offer up. That's what this community is for.
• You can have up to four (4) teaser icons. The rest should be behind an LJ cut.
• Don't post small batches everyday. Wait until you have at least 10-20 icons to post.
FOR USERS:
• Comment. I'm sure all the icon makers would like to know where their preciouses are going to. :)
• Credit! This is NOT optional. It is a MUST!
• If you don't make icons, but want to watch the community, DO NOT apply or join, just friend the community.
• Want to be an affiliate with the Good HP Icons? Drop off a comment here.
FOR APPLICANTS:
• Make sure you have read ALL the rules in the userinfo before you apply.
• Provide 8-10 of your best icons. They don't have to be Harry Potter related. Any fandoms for the application are fine. We want your best work.
• When you apply, please include Crucio, Bitches! in your subject line so we know you read the rules.
• Accepted? Awesome! Make sure to check the invites page for your invite.
• If you don't get accepted, don't get flamey or angry. Try again and maybe then you'll get in. XD
