Welcome to Good Bones Icons! We are the first LiveJournal community dedicated to giving you excellent icons of FOX network's television show Bones. Never heard of it? Scroll down to find links that'll help you learn more. We're sure that this isn't the first elite icon community you've stumbled across. We owe this idea the original creators, to whom we are forever grateful. Just as every other elite community says, membership to this community is by invitation - something that we give out once you get approved. It won't take long for you to apply and be able to post all the beautiful Bones and Bones-related icons you want. =) Your mods are Jen ( ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} savvy_elf) and Heather (shimmeryshine), and we're more than willing to answer any inquiries or questions you may have. We're all familiar with these by now, but sometimes it's good to have a refresher course, just in case. Posting Rules 01. Requesting = not okay. Offering to do requests = perfectly acceptable. 02. Up to three "teaser icons" are acceptable. Anything more must be placed behind an LJ-cut or a link to another post (if linking to another journal, make sure it is public). Wallpapers and other large graphics included in an icon post cannot be used as teasers. 03. Use the subject line to specify the number of icons + episode or other details. If your icons are included in a multifandom post, please show a breakdown of the icons so people know what to expect. 04. When first applying, please include "I'm a Jeffersonian" in the subject line so we know that you read the rules. 05. Make sure that your posts contain icons. Other graphics/pimping are accepted if and only if there are icons in the same post as well. 06. As of February 5th, 2007, this community now makes use of tags. So, once you post, click "Edit Tags" and select the tags that apply to your icon post. This helps everyone easily select and access the specific icons they're looking for. Also, it saves the mods having to do it for you (we have lives too, you know XD). 07. "Fake LJ-cuts" (a.k.a links to your own journals) are acceptable, but please, please don't link to locked journals that we are "forced" to join just to see the icons for. It's like you WANT to share... except not really. Snagging Rules 01. Comment and give the creator feedback. 02. Credit the creator. They took time in making individual pieces of art. If someone else stumbles along your icon, they'll know who made it! Don't pass them off as your own. 03. Do not hotlink the images. 04. Follow any specific rules the individual has in addition to these rules. |
