This story was inspired by a rather cute scene in a cafe. Plus, I decided to add a few elements I noticed from Saiyuki Reload, the episode about the kitten. I liked the way Sanzo stopped walking when the kitten mewed. Then, that smirk. *sigh* Plus a few more added elements and ta-da!

Pairings: 383 (Sanzo x Hakkai) and 858 (Hakkai x Gojyo). Although, really the only pairing getting any action in this one is Hakkai x Hakkai's hands. Because I'm evil.
Summary: Sanzo finally crawls out of bed and eats dinner with the group before everyone goes back to sleep. Gojyo kisses Hakkai good night and tells him to go to bed, but Hakkai is unable to sleep so he has a little fun with himself. Then he gets up for a cup of tea and runs into Sanzo, who is also unable to sleep. They argue, and eventually go back to bed.
Rating: NC-17

Title: Hold On

Pairings: 383 (Sanzo x Hakkai) and 858 (Hakkai x Gojyo)
Summary: Sanzo has a nightmare and Hakkai tries to comfort him, but he fails because Sanzo is difficult (like always). While those two sleep in Gojyo takes care of Goku for one morning, and they draw funny pictures with crayons.
Rating: M, for subconscious violence and suggestion of rape.
Notes: This fic comes with a visual reference which is linked to in the text. (I actually made Gojyo and Goku's crayon drawings on my paint program... it was fun!) I was also thinking about using "Scared" by Three Days Grace as a theme song for the beginning of this fic, but it didn't quite fit. If you have the song, then listen to it and think about the first part of this chapter, yes?
Oh, and I'm well aware of how demented I am for writing something that starts with death and ends with shits and giggles. Haha.

Title: Stronger

Summary: Sanzo watches over Hakkai until he wakes up, then the group is attacked by Chin Yiso. Goku reappears, but is left behind with Gojyo when Hakkai and Sanzo decide to lure the attacker away from those already injured. Hakkai nearly strangles Sanzo, defeats Chin Yiso, and... everything turns out alright?
Rating: PG13ish
Notes: So, even though this is mostly from the cannon story, I wanted to offer perspective on this event, particularly from Sanzo and Hakkai's points of view. I especially wanted to put forth my own version of whether Hakkai actually believed that he'd killed Sanzo or not.

Summary: Sanzo gets Hakkai to look at the wound on his belly. They leave the next morning and run into Chin Yiso in the next town. After defeating his monsters they leave town again, only to be attacked by a doll in the woods. After Gojyo is shot, Hakkai passes out, and Goku wanders off into the forest, Sanzo has to find a way to get the remaining party members to shelter.

Summary: Sanzo has a rude awakening to the sounds of Gojyo and Hakkai doing the dirty rather loudly in another room. He takes Goku out to the market to get away from it, and when Gojyo shows up it's all he can do to keep from putting a bullet in his brain before he goes back to the inn for a much-needed nap.
