New to this communitty, but not to Godsmack! I've been a fan of Godsmack since I was 14 yrs. old! Something for you to get to know moi better:

Name: Everyone calls me "Scars" or you can call me Ingrid. Either one. I gotta say, I prefer my nickname!
Age: 26
Location: Long Island, NY (60 miles from NYC, so no, I don't live in "the city")
How long have you been a fan & what made you become a fan? 12 yrs, like I said up there. I saw them open up for Black Sabbath. Other than getting peed on, it was a really fun show!
Favourite song? I dunno if I can pick JUST one; maybe "Whatever", "I Stand Alone" and "Moonbaby"
Favourite video? "Straight Out of Line" or "I Stand Alone" ... I really love 'em all!
Favourite cd? the original self-titled one ... always.
Least favourite song? If I must say one, I would say "Asleep". I don't really care for acoustic, and instead of doing a song that's the opposite of another, why not just put out another song? JMHO.
Ever seen them in concert? I've seen them in concert SO MANY times I can't even count. Most recently was for Crue Fest in August in NJ!
Other bands / artists you are into: lots of different ones (not just metal or rock or something like that). I really like punk & metal (any kind of either) and I love these bands: KISS (original one), Metallica, Michael Jackson, Ozzy / Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Korn, Damian Marley, Grateful Dead, Sex Pistols, Buckcherry, Marilyn Manson, Shakira, MIA

The Pulse of Radio reports: GODSMACK kicks off its run on this summer's Crüe Fest 2 this Sunday (July 19) in Camden, New Jersey, with the tour bringing the group's nearly two-year vacation to an end. Following this trek, the quartet will go into the studio to begin recording its fifth album. Although singer Sully Erna has also been working on his first solo effort, he told The Pulse of Radio he's not sure when or how that will see the light of day. "It's very epic, it's very soundtrack-ish, and I think it's important that maybe we try to find a movie for it," he said. "So until I find what the right avenue is to release it, I don't know when it's coming out and how it's coming out. I was hoping to at least release that in the meantime while GODSMACK's writing a new record. GODSMACK goes in after Crüe Fest to record the record, probably sometime this fall, and we'll release early '10."

Sully is going to be doing a couple solo acoustic appearances in May, it sounds like he will mainly be performing Godsmack songs and not songs from his own upcoming solo project... check out what he has to say, this was taken from his official myspace blog:

Solo Time is here!

Although my agent is still working the details out on many of these dates, i felt it was important to fill you in as i get the information about where and when i will be performing.

I will constantly be updating this blog now, so check back frequently to see if i am coming to your area soon.

For now i will tell you what i know. If it changes, i will make the corrections as soon as i can.

And this is not the main solo project i’ve been working on w/ Niall from DCD. This is the solo dates for me to come to you and play acoustically by myself. I am also bringing a surprise guest with me, so the night should be pretty fun.
