I was there!

I got a photo and an autograph and Paul because of a mixup with tickets. Paul = Love. He's lovely, it was such a pleasure to meet him and I'm glad I wore my boots so I didn't feel short, although in the photo it looks like we're a similar height and I'm really a shorty.

Okays... what else can I tell you that won't ruin things.

Guests for Show 1 - Corinne Grant, Reginald D Hunter, Frank Woodley and Wil Anderson (in that order from Mikey's team to Claire's).

For Show 2 - Kristen Schal, Ross Noble, Eddie Ifft, Josh Thomas (again work from Mikey to Claire)

Paul, sang, Flacco in attendance, Sandman, in attendance, special guest appearances by the Umbies and Cam.

Simply... I can say it was much awesomeness and I am floating on air and planning to come to Sydney for more mirth and goodness

Paul sang in ep 2 taping, Flacco featured in both, Sandman in both, Umbies in ep 1 taping, Cam in ep 2 taping (although I think it was him playing for both offstage but it was a little hard to tell)

It was seven flavours of awesome!

Transcended (accompanied by Cam & Flacco)

Flacco played guitar for Paul, did two bits much like the old days and Sideshow; Sandy wore pink; did two bits like the old days... AND the Umbies played So You Think You Can Mime as SOMEONE ELSE refused to play. And Cam also played along with Ross Noble for Strange But True which I'm a richer person from seeing live because the audience clap along turned into a fiasco with Paul berating the audience for being out of time which then led to us being COMPLETELY out of time.

I'm on cloud nine still, he's just such a lovely lovely man - really.

I imagine at the same time he could verbally tear strips off you if you provoked him, but he was so lovely in the few minutes we got to spend with him, and i think slightly bemused that I had a page in my notebook that said Paul McDermott signed my notebook _____________________.

LOL. Speaking of notebooks, I want to marry the audience flirtation device. They were all beautiful, but that one in particular I loved.

They had to take 6 seats out of our row to allow for a platform for Paul's monologue and the camera guy to be there in there for filming purposes, one of them was my seat (although mum still had hers) - problem easily solved by them simply adding my chair back in (i was sooooo close) and they kindly asked us to hang to meet Paul after the show (cause i'm going to say NO WAY to that) and took our names and addys to send us stuff to make up for things which I completely adore them for and even if they don't send us anything I left the town hall completely satisfied.

He really really is, just... so gorgeous and full of energy and...

I can't wait for the show tonight!

You know I think the smile on my face indicates exactly what I was thinking at the time (its like OMG Paul McDermott has his arm around my shoulders, Paul McDermott touched me, don't make any sudden movements)

Oh and today, my favourite answer to the question "how was your weekend?" was answered by simply showing them the photo as the short answer.

I forgot to mention APP -when A went to get me us bottles of water , He saw Mikey outside on a break. ! I didn't know until later but A left a message on my phone saying " I hope you got to meet Paul coz you just missed out on a autograph opp with Mikey Robins! "

Oh yeah, notepads handed off to the stage manager before the 1st show, when B & I saw Paul in between shows he hadn't seen them yet, I just hope he found them amusing. And we said hi to Pam for you!

yes she did ! I said " Ryttu3k sends her regards as she couldn't be here tonight so she asked me to tell Pam I said hello "

To which Pam replied " Oh fantastic ! great! "

Then I asked her if she would mind giving Paul the extra note pad and the poem for me and she said she would. I only hope he liked them . Thats all.
Also - count nickula where were you if you were there?

Oh ok! LOL ... APP and I were right down the front . For the first show I was on the right hand side of the stage where paul looked down at someone while going on about groupies. if you saw a girl put her head in her hands -that was me

in the 2nd show my hubby was the one he picked on with the sunglasses ! I was the one Paul made a comment about clapping "with your arms up like that" re ross noble!
