    lost cat
One of my dorky friends accidentally let my cat out a few days ago, he was a stray when I got him from the shelter, and so I’m having some trouble finding him. His name is Nemesis; He’s a 7-month-old black short hair, with a red collar, and he has yellow eyes. I live on 42nd ave. north, right off of 4th street. I’m hoping he isn’t too far from my area. My name is Sean, and my number is (727) 366-5173, please call if by some slime chance you happen to find him. Thanks for your time folks.

Bound to be some musicaly inclined people...
Hello Globe people. This is Dennis. I had a long talk with a good friend recently that made a lot of sense. I have difficlty being happy. Not a lot of things make me happy. I know certain people can make me happy, but then I have to rely on these people, and then it sucks cause you have to rely on them.

Point being, in this conversation, I was asked, "Dennis, think of one thing you like to do, no, one think that makes you happy when you do it, then isolate that one thing, and do it as much as humanly possible." This made a lot if sense to me. And, so I thought, long and hard, and it was something like 45 minutes till I had an answer.

I am happy when I sing.

I am honestly happy when I sing. It could be for a single person, a couple, or a crowd at a wedding like I did Sunday night. I am happy when I sing. I'm fairly sure I sing well. I don't think I've ever disappointed anyone unless they were asking for some heavy falsetto out of me.

So, I want to know if anyone had many tips on putting together people for jam sessions, writing, etc. I wrote lyrics before in highschool, but it never went anywhere. I don't really know any instruments, I just sing, and I love it. I'm interested in trying to find a more public outlet for it other than a karaoke bar. Any input on this would please me greatly.

I know JoEllen has heard me sing briefly! Thanks for reading.

Hello again Fright Fans. Unfortunately, the New Creature Feature was not picked up by WTOG44, although there is a chance that you may see the good doctor this Halloween, hosing a movie marathon. This year is the 10th Anniversary of Ernest R. Bennick's death, and would have been perfect of another year of campy movies. Seeing as the Halloween season is now upon us, I believe a re-awakening of this community is in order. Seeing as there is no Feature to speak of, we could, at least for now, use this community as a bulletin of sorts for the parties and gatherings that are sure to occur thought the month.

The cast and crew of the Florida Pirate Festival are putting together a concerted effort to gather supplies to take to Louisiana. Below is an announcement made today by Bob Dougherty, the producer of the show.

    Hey Guys,

Just got off the phone with Johnathan White, Turns out 3 of us were trying to work on this sepratly with out knowning what was going on. We now have a collective game plan. Johnathan is renting the biggest Truck he can get from uhaul or who ever. we need to fill it with the followng items:
    Medical Supplies,
    Water,
    Blankets
    Canned foods,
    Baby foods
    can openers,

We also need 2- 55 gallon drums, so that we can fill with deisel to get Johnathan back.

He will personally drive the truck to the out skirts of new orleans and wait for an escort.

Paula Rodgers is also working on the offering of her services, she is a PRN.

If anyone can help please let me know through email, i will have a cell phone later this after noon and list my number as well. Webmaster(at)piratefair.com

I believe with a combined effort, we can definatly kick some butt and help!

    And then an update:

We got the truck 26' we need fuel or cash donations for fuel. Johnathan is driving us 19 to I10. could use $1000.00 for help with truck and fuel (diesel).

If you can help in any way, PLEASE email Bob at the email address listed above, or leave a comment on my LiveJournal so we can make it happen. Just because we're not directly affected, it doesn't mean we can directly help our neighbors in trouble.
