global_view is a LiveJournal Partner community. Today's interconnected world is smaller than it has ever been. Technological advances have allowed us to hear each other in ways that were not imagined a generation ago. With communication possibilities approaching the infinite, suddenly we have the ability to tune into voices that are different from those spoken where we live, if only we know where to look.
This new community is designed to tackle our pre-existing opinions about how others see the world, and have a global conversation about issues that affect us all. Here is a forum for LiveJournal's worldwide community to share opinions with each other and with LiveJournal's media partners.
LiveJournal hopes, in time, to acquire partners from across the globe. We are starting with Mint from India, The Independent from the UK and Gazeta from Russia.
