Mine wouldn't work when I went to play Vanity Fair tonight....very sad. When I took it all apart I came to the conclusion that everything is pretty much okay except for the dvd spinning mechanism thingiemabob. I.e. When I put a dvd in, it reads No Disc. I took it apart and discovered when I put a dvd in, the dvd is not being spun. I managed to 'jump start' it once and it read a dvd but then subsquent tries, even with jump starting it failed. Am I SOL on this dvd player or is there a way to fix it??? Mon, Jan. 2nd, 2006, 09:21 pm

Anyway, if anyone is a fan, you ought to go to http://www.harpercollins.com/catalog/aut Also, Barnes&Noble.com has B&N University, where you can take some free classes and join reading groups. Pratchett is going to lead a reading group for his new novel (Going Postal) in January, so that might be something else you're interested in. I certainly plan on joining that reading group, and in fact, I've just joined my first reading group on B&N for Wicked, which starts 4 Oct....Yay! Thu, Sep. 16th, 2004, 03:08 pm
