If the original story was published in a country that speaks a non-English language, I tend to use foreign words, and foreign names (ie, Uzumaki Naruto instead of Naruto Uzumaki, sensei instead of teacher).

Notes: Dear lord, a DC fic that isn't a Psych crossover? And it hardly even has the main character in it! But I have a mental image for how they can clean up this Satou-Shiratori-Kobayashi mess, and as it won't likely happen for another two years, goddamned manga pacing I decided to just write it out myself. The prose isn't my best, but it's getting an idea off my chest.

Keibu - Police inspector

Um. I haven't been treating Lassiter well in this story (odd, as he's almost definitely my favorite Psych character). That's probably not going to change any time soon. Shawn kind of constantly badgers the man, and Conan won't be impressed by his lack of superhuman detective abilities. Or his short temper. Huh. That sounds familiar...

And I lied, before. I've totally expanded this crossover, via our OC. I'll be amazed if anyone is familiar with all three of these shows.

Notes: In watching TOS on my iPod, I learned that you can't stop in the middle of a long video and expect to return to it where you left off. I gave up on the episodes I'd been in the middle of--the finale of S1 and two in the middle of S2--and only returned to them (on my computer, this time) after I'd gotten to the end of S3. And "The Changeling" freaked me out. This is, incidentally, one of the reasons why I hate shows that you can watch out of order without noticing a thing. This should have had an affect on her life.
For [info]cliche_bingo, Injury. Of a different kind, admittedly, but an injury nonetheless.
