If you want to join the community, click here to join. Please add me to your friends' list temporarily so that I can read a bit of your journal and verify that you are indeed female. If your journal is new and you only have a few entries, please wait until you've been around LJ a little longer. I try hard to keep this community all female because of all the topics that are discussed here. Quite frankly, I believe most men would be bored to tears anyway :)
This community is meant for women to exchange ideas and talk about issues currently on their mind. I have found that women understand women and that sometimes, the understanding of another woman is all one needs. If you'd like to join this community, please contact me.
Now that this community is closed, let's establish some rules. If you choose
to stay, then I'll take it as a sign that you have agreed to abide by those rules.
1) Make your posts "Friends Only". Making them public defeats the purpose
of the CLOSED community.
2) Obviously, we have an array of different women in here. Check your
cattiness at the door. It's unrealistic to think that everyone's gonna get
along. So, bite your tongue and move on if you don't like the person or what
they had to say.
3) As far as pictures, I love them as much as the next person. Please keep
the size down to less than 500 pixels and use an LJ-CUT tag to spare those
on a dial-up connection or those at work.
4) SURVEYS/QUIZZES/POLLS....allowable ONLY if they are on topic. Example of a bad poll: "Shall I dye my hair blonde or red?". Save that for your personal LJ.
5) No LJ gossip. I love gossip but, it can be quite hurtful
especially since most of the time, gossip is just that...gossip.
6) No advertising of other communities unless you get the maintainer's
approval. It's just a matter of common courtesy. There are other forums
where you can advertise your communities.
7) What is said here...stays here.
8) This isn't a community for male bashing. Sure, you can express your
frustration towards the male species and I'm sure there will be some bashing
but this is not the purpose of the community.
