AboutAround the world, there are numerous religions: some big, some small...but they all share one thing: belief in some kind of higher principle.
Different faiths often share the same tenets...and widely diverge on others.
Some religions are stable and unchanging, while others have undergone wild changes within the last century or so.
Religion is often influenced by culture and sometimes it's hard to tell which is which.
Our Religion often tells us what is forbidden and what is allowed, and we may accept some rules while doubting or rejecting others.
Some people think that all the Gods are just one God, others believe they are separate.
We hold different beliefs on where we come from and where we're going (and where others are going) after we die.
We see other people practicing a different religion and wonder about their rituals and prayers.
This is a community to discuss all that, from the mundane to the profound.
I trust all members to keep discussions respectful and friendly (even at times where it's getting a little lively ^_~).

P.S.: Rules so far:
1. Your belief is your own and only the deity / deities you believe in can judge if what you believe is correct. And no matter how certain you are, you can never actually KNOW until the day you die. Taking this into consideration, be tolerant of what others believe, even if you believe differently.
2. It's o.k. if the discussion is a little heated, but strive to be nice nonetheless and not to hurt other's feelings. Communication (especially in a medium that does not include body-language and tone of voice) can be difficult and misunderstandings happen. So if you do end up hurting someone's feelings, even though you didn't intend to, be friendly and apologize.
3. Try posting in english. It's a language most people will be able to understand, and understanding other people is what this community is all about.
4. Have fun. Enjoy being here and being with other people that are searching for a deeper meaning to their lives. This is not about being right, but about growing and coming into you faith. ^_^
5. No other rules so far. If the need arises, new ones will be added, but hopefully, the rules so far will be sufficient ^_^
