I read GG and smile and it takes away pain in my life, and I comment from time to time though I don't have the brain to remember what most you guys do, or the talent but I try to share without sounding like a boob

I just wanted to share something, I lost my best friend, the person that showed why I should read, and most of all my mother tonight. She had been fight cancer for some time, and she got a bad infection in aug, well she was seemingly getting better... well she took a nasty turn on monday... she told me she would be ok, and she loved me and she believed in me even when I don't and I would be ok... she never got better, and the meds weren't going to make her better, she wasn't on lifesupport but the meds were kinda doing that for her. she always said don't hold on, it's selfish, disagree or not, we honored that, and she was sleep and had been for 36 hours, and she went very peacefully

the funny thing is I was sitting at the nurse's desk filling out the paper work which is so fucking sucks... sorry for the language. and there on the desk was my mom's reading glasses they hadn't put into her bag, in her room. I smiled as I put the glasses in my pocket... they aren't any fancy or anything, just normal reading glasses you find in the drug store. But they mean so much because of her love reading...

I wanted to honor her by letting you know she was the greatest spark to live... she was bright and funny and snarky... I love her, and will always hold her...Thank you for letting me share that...

While thinking about Sparkiness as applied to food and drink, it occurred to me that Theo's not the only one who's shown some talent in the Mad Food Scientist department. There is another, more sinister madman, using his twisted genius for fun, profit, and deliciousness. He has no conscience. He has no limits. He will quite cheerfully experiment on anyone who wanders too close, whether voluntary or not. We know the extent of his lunacy, and yet he still walks free. Due to a clever public relations campaign, a carefully crafted public image and a Take No Prisoners policy regarding punishments for the hapless visitor, he likely never will be. He is forever perfecting his art in his terrible maze of laboratories, exploiting the weak and ignorant for his own dastardly ends. After careful consideration, this man can only be a Spark of the highest, blackest caliber. He must be dealt with by any means necessary.

Who fixed the trilobite locket, and why? Moloch broke it, we know Klaus had it...if he'd fixed it, presumably he knew what it did. Not knowing that Agatha was possessed, he couldn't have planned to use it to counter the Other.

So, I've been rereading from the very beginning, and I noticed something that made me squeal with delight. On http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20050105 if you look in the first panel, next to the clank's left arm, you see "Olga" with Zeetha right behind her, looking like she's holding her back. I had never noticed that before. Has anybody else noticed little things like that?

I finally did it. I finally took my costume home and had my dad take pictures of me in costume on my horse.

This weekend I visited my family and since it was a little cooler than it has been I took my Maxim costume with me so that I could do a photoshoot on my horse like I've always wanted to. I'm planning on Photoshopping a lot of them to take the modern structures and such out of the backgrounds.

A little info on my horse for those interested: He's 11 years old, 16 hands (one hand is 4") tall at the shoulder, sooty dun, BLM Mustang (born wild/feral) gelding and he weighs about 1300 lbs when in his prime shape. I've had him for just over three years. His name is Brego, named after Aragorn's horse from the movie versions of Lord of the Rings. Most Mustangs don't get much taller than 15 hands and even that's pretty tall for a Mustang. The reason why Brego's so big is because his herd had an infusion of draft horse breeding, probably Percheron.

ETA: To those who may be wondering why I decided to do this, I became inspired when I read on the Cast page that Maxim is an ex-cavalry officer. I just love a man who can ride a horse! <3
