This is the Gintama scanlation community at Livejournal. Here we share our scanlations of the Jump manga by Sorachi Hideaki. Updates are open to everyone but releases and member information will be locked. At the moment, all entries are locked and we are only accepting scanlation group members. Other LJ users may "Watch Community" to follow releases. Requests will be ignored and refused within a 30-day period. WATCH FOR OUR FIRST RELEASES! UNTIL THEN, MOST POSTS WILL BE LOCKED.

[RULES.]

1] Everything is friends only because it makes it everything simpler to manage, meaning friending, posting, commenting, and downloads. The moderator(s) will approve new members at their discretion. Posting entries will be limited to moderators. If you have questions or would like to share or request something, please send an email to dv.eoit[@]gmail.com. (Remove brackets.)

2] Do not harrass the moderators, members of this community or group through the community, their email, Ljs, etc. Scanlations are done in our free time and the chapters we do are dependent on other groups and raw availability. It's tough work to scanlate, so comments are greatly appreciated!

3] Please be literate and considerate of others. This means keeping arguments between the persons responsible, no flaming, insulting, spamming, advertising, or heavy spoilers without warning. We are here to share our scanlations, not moderate personal relationships.

4] Do not hotlink or share links outside of this community. To share our scanlations, simply link back here; releases will be uploaded onto free or personal hosting sites immediately. Comment on a 'Release' post to request reuploads.

5] We have a right to IP log and blacklist abusive users.
