So I was rewatching a couple of my favourite episodes of the Nodame Cantabile dorama and I remembered having a conversation with a friend about how even though I watched the anime first, the live-action dorama somehow seems to work so much better! Then in my stream of consciousness I thought...

What if Gintama was made into a live-action comedy?!
What actors would you choose to portray the Yorozuya? Or the Shinsengumi? this is such crack omg

Despite his innocent looks he actually has a very twisted/crafty mind. He is quite a sadist, and is called 'The Prince (or maybe the King) that came from the Sadistic Planet' by Hijikata. He owns an eyemask with eyes drawn on them. He is aiming for Hijikata's vice-captain seat, and is inventing many ways to try and get rid of him. Okita is the best swordsman in the Shinsengumi, but has a liking to Bazooka Bombs and Rocket Launchers and releases them even if an innocent passerby happens to be in the range as well. In the original Japanese manga he likes to end his sentences in '~desaa' and "~desuzee'. Since the cherry-blossom viewing incident in the third volume, he likes to get involved with Kagura in fights. The name 'Okita Sougo' comes from one of the Shinsengumi members, Okita Souji.
