In "A Family Matter"
In the episode "A Family Matter" of the fourth season, Rory comments about her perception of Lorelai's attempts to save money, i.e. lower watt bulbs, less catalogs, and the purchase of groceries for food rather than take-out. I cannot recall its ever being resolved. Lorelai denies it and then the idea is never mentioned again.

Seinfeld connection
I've known for awhile that Luke was the "spongeworthy" guy .... but today I caught the episode where Jerry dates a woman who fights with her mom about putting Jerry on speed-dial - and the woman was Lorelai! How cute!!

Has anyone else heard this possible GG movie? Thoughts?

I personally wish there was one more season - I am afraid they won't wrap it up as much as they should. I really think rory was stupid to turn down Logan -- and I totally agree with Logan saying that it had to be all or nothing. where do you go after you've proposed and the person says no? How do you keep a "normal" relationship after that? I hope she goes back to him, realizing her mistake, and her turns her down. I know, I'm so mean!

Anyone else notice the scale outside Luke's? I swear it's never been there before.

what's the deal with Lane? Has she become so unimportant that we don't get to see the birth? and all of the sudden the kids have names and stuff and we don't see them?

And what was with the whole "I'd like to factor you in" thing ..? It was so weird - like they just started dating or something.

But YAY luke n lorelai!!!!!

The Final Season?
I remembered over the summer that they were talking about this season being the final one for Gilmore Girls. Is it true or have they not decided yet?

Someone help me with the math here ...

how much time was supposed to have passed between the last ep and last night? Because Lane was ... huge. Twins, yes -- but she shouldn't be like 8 months along already. I mean, how LONG was Rory in London?

Am I missing something?

I Slept Through Gilmore Girls Last Night.....
Being that I was up since the crack of dawn and working and cleaning all day. By the time I finally got to sit down, relax and watch Gilmore Girls, within five minutes of the show, I fell asleep. Oops, so I missed just about everything. I did wake up for a moment when Lorelai and Christopher were having dinner at the end (I think that's what they were doing), but then I conked out again and missed the ending. What happened?

I dont know, but Lorelai has become so...dumb and immature. Maybe it was there all along, but I just thought it was cute and silly, but now going back and rewatching everything I realize that my favorite character had me fooled for a long while. She's not strong, she's stuck at 16 well in her 30's. That is just...sad

Actors and Characters
I was rewatching eps and i just realised that the actress that played Sasha (Jimmy Mariano's partner) also plays Anna Nardini.

Anyone else noticed actors/actresses playing 2 characters on Gilmore Girls?

ok so this has probualy been asked and already answered, but when i was watching a few ramdom episodes of gg. i think i heard sookie's last name mentioned 2 different ways (belville and melville) which one is it or is it both? if someone could let me know, thanx

I was rewatching S2&3 and at first Rory and Lane always mentioned Lane's 'parents' not only Mrs Kim. How come we've never seen Lane's father and also what suddenly happened to him?. Mid-way through S2 they stopped referring to the Kim family as "lane's parents" but only as "mrs kim". Anyone else noticed this?

Interesting
I was watching the first episode again, and I saw a very familiar face in one scene. The actress who plays Carrie in the fifth season (Liz's crazy friend who flirted incessantly with Luke) actually appeared in this episode as Rory's English teacher in Stars Hollow High.

There has been some mention about the fact that the Palladinos won't be back next season. Anyway, I was listening to the TV Guide Podcast, and there was mention that the guy who will be taking over the show wrote this week's episode. So...we all got a little peak of his style.
