Welcome to [info]gilesxander!

The mission of this community is to spread the love of the Giles/Xander pairing, from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom. Anyone who loves Giles, Xander, and their relationship, be it fanon or canon, is welcome to join, and participate.

Just in case that wasn't clear: this is first and foremost, a slash friendly community.

Some posts in here will be locked to members only. In order to become a member, join here.

Membership is moderated. You must have your full date of birth (including the year) in your userinfo to be approved. I reserve the right not to add people whose LJs are empty and have barely been used to either join other fandom communities or post comments anywhere.

I will not be contacting you. If you do not have your date of birth in your userinfo, or if your LJ is devoid of activity, your membership will be refused. Please read here on why this is important in the context of this community.



RULES


  • 1. You may post anything relating to Giles/Xander; fics, essays, recommendations, icons, vids, wallpapers, graphics, everything is welcome in this community.
  • 1.5. On the other hand, community(ies)/ficathons/cons pimping (basically, any pimping that does not directly involve the Giles/Xander pairing) must be cleared with me first at soft.princess AT gmail.com. Failure to do so will result in the post getting deleted. If you do it again, you will be banned.

  • 2. Please use a cut-tag for any large graphics, all fics of more than 200 words, and all adult rated content. Please see the FAQ on how to use an lj-cut tag.

  • 3. All content featuring characters under the age of 18 in situations rated FRM or higher must be friends-locked. If you do not know how to friends lock, please see the FAQ. I am serious about this.

  • 4. Use ratings.

  • 5. Warn for any potentially offensive content. ALL POTENTIALLY OFFENSIVE CONTENT MUST BE WARNED FOR. This includes, but is not limited to: BDSM, non-con, fetishes, other kinks (including daddy!kink, and others), and scenes depicting characters under the age of 18 in sexual situations (be it explicit or not).

  • 6. Fics and art depicting explicit non-consensual sexual situations involving characters under the age of 18 are not allowed.

  • 7. No trolling, flaming or bashing of any kind will be tolerated, including bashing of characters. I mean it. These actions will get you banned from this community without prior warnings.

    Failure to comply with the rules will get you a warning. In the case of a second warning, you will be put on moderated status. A third warning gets you banned. (The ever famous "three strikes and you're out" stance; I like this stance)
