How to write a rec
- The story has to be about Giles or feature him prominently.
- Do not recommend your own writing. You can recommend something you beta-read; best to note your involvement if you do.
- If the story has an adult rating, please mention it. Other ratings are optional. You might want to use the fan-rated rating system.
- The story can be old, new, recommended often, found here on LJ, found elsewhere on archives. You can also recommend a source of stories, many stories, or just one. If you're pointing readers to good Giles fiction, you're doing it right.
- Your rec should include the author, the title, a link to the story, and a brief summary or teaser.
- Then tell us why we should all go read it. Stay positive; for instance, don't sell a pairing to us by bashing a different pairing.
