Hi y'all.

I hope you don't mind me pointing out random Gil/Greg moments. Eventually I may even create a meta for the pairing but I'm really not that organised. For the time being (unless you ask me to stop) I'm going to point out Gil/Greg moments as they happen on my laptop which has everything from Angel to Xena playing randomly.

The moment I would like your opinion on is from Season 4 Episode 21 'Turn of the Screw' and happens about 9 minutes in.

Hi y'all,

I have a quick question for those of you whose hearing is better than mine.

In the first series, episode 22, about 38 minutes in: Gil says something to Nick and I can't quite catch the pronoun. They've just arrested a guy for killing his ex boyfriend and Grissom says something along the lines of: "Y'know, that reminds me. ? gotta remember to take Greg Sanders to lunch. He did a nice job sniffing out those peanuts." and Nick practically beams with pride before responding "Yeah, he did."

Y'see, if it's Gil telling Nick to take Greg out to lunch (aka, a date) he's practically playing matchmaker for the pair which I find ridiculously cute. Not only is he okay with it, but he's actually encouraging the shy Texan to act on his crush.

However, I've been reading the transcript and that says "I got to remember" which would be more Gil/Greg and doesn't really explain Nick's almost blush and his grin unless he's just happy for Greg.

I ship both Gil/Greg and Nick/Greg so this little tidbit has really got me intrigued. I would love to hear your thoughts. x

Woohoo, here's part 2 of the Gil/Greg fanmix, er, "series."

The idea behind this mix to do my darnedest to split the songs between who the song "focused" on in terms of point of view. A number of songs ended up being something like "Greg's POV on/to/of Gil." This is, like the previous mix, in something of a chronological order - from early crush and desire, to realization that something might be possible, to a culmination of the actual relationship. "Landslide" has Gil unsure of moving forward with a romantic relationship and feeling unworthy. "Adventures in Solitude" marks the return of Gil after his sabatical and/or after a (temporary) breakup with Greg.

Notes: I've really wanted to post a mix on fst  for a long time. For just as long I've wanted to do a fanmix for this pairing of CSI. Anyway, this month's "it couldn't last" / "wasn't meant to be" theme ended up the perfect jumping off point for a mix - at least in one mood. So this mix is a look at the unfortunate tale of a potentially brilliant couple broken apart by a third party - namely, Sara Sidle. *sad face*

I actually saw an episode from this season last week; it's been a long time since I've watched the show. The glimpse of course starts up my love for this pairing again. *sigh* Someone just commented on a story of mine, too, which has got me thinking... I'm curious what people know of either slash or more gennish Gil and Greg fics that involve the supernatural or paranormal. (I know of the stories on Caffiends Asylum.)

T'would be fabulous if someone has a couple recs.

Oh, the other thing I'm curious about - any crossovers with NCIS?

What I remember is that Greg's been in love with Gil forever, and they're still working in Vegas though some of the others have moved on. Gil and Greg have become friends, and Warrick knows that Greg's in love with Gil and watches him suffer. Greg's made up his mind never to tell Gil.
