The GI Jenny Summer Challenge
Since a few people seemed interested in taking part in a challenge held here at
gijennywe have decided to give this a shot. I am happy to announce the very first GI Jenny Summer Challenge (Or second if you count last years header challenge.) To summarise this is a fan creation challenge focused on Jenny, the Doctor’s daughter, and in light of the polls I have decided to make it ‘anything goes’; fanfiction, fanart, fanmixes, fanvids, icons, headers, banners, wallpapers… anything you want.

Rules
Every challenge needs to have rules.
- All fan works must be Jenny centric.
- You can claim as many prompts as your want.
- Each prompt can only be claimed twice.
- When submitting your entries we will create a submission post, so please place a link to your submission in a comment to the post.
- You may link back to your journal but please ensure that in is viewable to all people i.e. don’t link to private journals.
- Please label your submission it appropriately stating the prompt, any other characters or pairings and rating if applicable.
- Fanfiction: Remember to rate your fic appropriately. All forms of fanfiction are allowed including drabbles.

Those of you who frequent this community will have noticed that the layout had been jiggled about a bit.
In light of our poll it proved that most of you like the community layout as it is but had problems with the size of the main content. I have stretched it from 700px to 900px. However this meant changing the header slightly (As you can see.)
I have also changed the size of the sidebar and the side of the page it is on.
I'd also like to announce that because some of you showed interest in taking part in agijenny community challenge I will be announcing The GI Jenny Summer Challenge this Sunday.

It's that time of year again. You may remember last year we had the GI Jenny Community Header Challenge and this year we hope to do another challenge for the members, lurkers and other people within the fandom to get into the 'Jenny' spirit.
We recently had a suggestion sent to us bybe_my_constant to try and get this community's members to interact more. We have an idea for a GI Jenny Community Challenge. It would take place over this summer, between June and the end of August, to give us all plenty of time to participate.
The challenge would take this sort of form:

3.) 2nd half of July/August: people will have the chance to complete their selected prompts.

I've noticed that some people in the Doctor Who fandom really like Jenny, some people have nothing against her and some people dislike her. I know a few people who love her, but I want to know more!
Over at my journal, is an oppotunity for Jenny fans to talk about why we like her and various other Jenny related randomness. Georgia love is also welcome :)

This is actually a story idea I had some time ago, and I've been debating making into a long story piece where Jack and Jenny meet pre-"The Empty Child." For those of you who don't remember the reference, in the episode "The Doctor Dances," Jack makes a vague statement about about stealing his Chula war ship from a beautiful girl/woman, which he left stranded somewhere after telling her, "Be back in five minutes." It's my strong believe that that girl could quite possibly have been Jenny (and neither Jack nor the Doctor might never know... at least for now. That would be where I'd write another piece post this one.
I have not had this story beta'd, so I apologize before hand for any grammatical or spelling issues.
Summary: When on stopover on an unknown commerace planet, Jenny literally bumps into a tall, dark haired bloke with deep blue eyes. He's about to change her life forever.
