Welcome! You have stumbled upon the icontest dedicated to the works of Studio Ghibli & Hayao Miyazaki! If you do not know how an icontest works, then read the rules listed on this page. Then join and let's have some fun!



01; You must be a member if you are to participate in any way in this community.
02; As is is not a community for posting icons, you do not need posting access. So please do not ask for it.
03; Do not post your icon anywhere until after winners for that week are posted. If I find that this rule has been broken, the icon will be disqualified.
04; Do not take any icons until after a theme is over, and even then you still need to ask the icon maker for permission. If you want to know who made an icon, leave a comment in the winners post and I or that icon maker will tell you. If you use any of the icons that were made for this community, you MUST give credit.
05; All icons must fit livejournal standards: 100x100 or less, 40kb or less.
06; Each member is allowed to submit two icons for each theme.
07; You must make your icon(s), this includes not stealing icons or copying tutorials.
08; Your icon(s) must be recently made for each new theme that is announced. If a re-used icon is submitted, the mod in charge of that week will ask you to make another one.
09; REGARDING FANART/DOUJIN ART: You are allowed to use them, but please get the permission of the artist first. And make sure to give them credit. If you do use it, say so in your submission comment so we can also credit them in the voting post, and the winners post if your icon places.

Here is where you can find the bannermaker rotation. Bannermakers, please try to post your banners within a reasonable time period. If you are having trouble doing to, please let a mod know via a comment on any recent post.

If you think you can't make it for your week, please leave a comment at the above post or on the most recent post and a moderator will get back to you!

Banner makers will take weekly rotations for making banners for the winners. We are always on the lookout for more bannermakers. If you would like to be a banner maker, please make a comment here.
